What is "dizziness"?

Hey All,

My husband and I have been NTNP since I came off of BCP in January. My cycles have been 27, 28, 27, 29, 28, 32, 33, 32, and now I'm on day 37. I tested yesterday and was negative. After reading a little online though, the test I used might not have been very sensitive, so I'm just going to wait a bit longer and test again in a few days.

I am not a big symptom checker, and honestly haven't been noticing much of anything in terms of symptoms.

One thing that was weird for me this morning though, is that I almost fainted in the shower. So that brings me to my question - what is considered dizziness?

For me, what happened was I got all hot and nauseas, and my vision got all white/speckly - kind of the like the way old tv screens used to look when they didn't pick up a signal. I had to squat down and just sort of sit there until it passed. When I got out of the shower my face looked green!

Is this "dizziness"?

Yes, I would consider that dizziness.

Thanks - I know that might have been a silly question...

I just wasn't sure if when people said they felt "dizzy", it meant the hot/nauseas/seeing spots too, or if it was just a bit of lightheadedness.

Yeah, I would consider that dizzy. I consider dizzy pretty much anything that involves feeling unsteady or off-balance. I've had that exact same situation you described and I would definitely call it dizzy.

u had a bit of neausea/dizzy spell...in some ppl there common in pregnancy with my 2nd son it was common for me....i almost passed out standing in the freig door trying to figure out what i wanted to drink..and the crazy thing about it it just sneaks up on u n u dont really know what to do at the moment...
