Thought i'd start getting organised now, so ive made a start on packing everything I need for the hospital. Im planning on having two bags, a small wheely suitcase for mine, oh's and some of babys bits, and then the babys changing bag with wipes, nappy bags etc in, along with blanket, and clothes, basically anything he's gunna need right away. What is everyone else doing bag wise?

In my changing bag fo bubbs, ive put in:

  • 2 newborn vests and sleepsuits
  • 1 x 0-3 month vest and sleepsuit incase he's big
  • 1 x blanket
  • 1 pack of wipes
  • nappy bags
  • hat, 2 pairs socks, 3 pairs scratch mittens
  • a bib
  • cotton wool

Like I said, everything in this bag is everything im planning on him needed straight away so I can have it all to hand.

Then in the main suitcase along with our stuff, im gunna put in for him

  • 2 more vests and sleepsuits
  • 2 more 0-3 month vests and sleepsuits
  • pack of 27 size 1 nappies
  • going home outfit
  • snow suit
  • pack of bibs

This is all stuff that he's gunna need but maybe not straight away.

What is everyone else doing? xx

going home outfit for me
going home outfit for poppy

Ah- hospital bag!!! I knew there was still something I had to do!!

Thats this weekends task!

My hospital provides all nappies/cotton wool/maternity pads etc so am not taking anything like that with me.

Cheers for the lists girls:flower:

They do say they don't recommend using wipes until the baby is a few months old i think

I started a thread about this myself a while ago. From what I can gather it's just personal choice and I found pretty much I got a 50/50 split in my replies. I'm taking cotton wool as well just in case. xx

im going to take some for my face lol theyre great make up removers :) xx

Certain baby wipes have alcohol in them and my friend who's just had a baby said to get the ones without the alcohol in them as they don't irritate the skin as much as the ones with alcohol in them

Hazel x

so do i not need nappy rash cream? cos the last list i got had that on!

Im struggling to fit my stuff in so looking what i have extra and thats the only thing lol
