what is going on?!?!

Hi all, I have been trying to conceive for a year now and my periods are not regular .due to pcos... last month I had a normal five day period and this month when my period was due I had a small blood stain when I wiped and then for three days after that nothing but noticed everytym I went to pee there was always a tiny bit of what looked like sheding of my uterine lining with a tiny bit of blood on it..... for past two days I had nothing and this morning I thought let me take a test which came out negetive but I just went to the toilet and there was alot of snot like CM on the tissue when I looked it up and everyone is saying that snot like mucus is a good sign??? **sigh** im so confused im a week past my period due date......... anyone gone thru this before?

As you have pcos maybe the snot like mucus is an indicator of a late ovulation, do you temp or use ovulation strips?
