So as of the last couple of weeks my LO has been nothing but a whine bag! I'm constantly going through the list of make sures (you know, diaper, hungry, tired, etc) and nothing works. She has two teeth cutting in and I give her tylonal along with teething gel and try to get her to chew on stuff but she still whines. Is this all due to the teething?? I almost don't recognize her anymore. She refuses to sleep most of the time. It's gotten to the point where I'll put her in her crib and let her whine for awhile, check on her now and again but she just keeps going so I eventually take her out and either try something else or just give up entirely. She's tired but just doesn't want to sleep. I almost wish she was sick so I could give her some meds! She just turned 8 months, has anyone else had issues like this? What did you do? Ive tried damn near everything and she still just walks around whining, lalalaing and blowing raspberries, which she all does when she's upset about something.
Also I'm not sure what is going on with her when we take her away from something she's not supposed to be in. The apartment is as baby proof as it can get minus a few things. She'll get super, super pissed when we remove her from the bathroom (which she will promptly follow you in to) or the refrigerator (which she will also make a bee line for once open) and just scream her head off like I took a bottle away! I know frustration comes with all these things but is she just being over dramatic? I'll try to distract her by removing her and then giving her a toy but she'll just drop it and go back to what she was trying to do.
A little reassurance and maybe some advice from someone who has/had a little whiny diva on their hands, please!
