Avy, Ivy, or Vivy? They all work with our name, but I'm not sure which I like best?
Is it a short 'I' or a long 'I'? We have an Evie and DD1 always called her 'veevee', we don't use it all the time but I think it's cute.
Not sure I like Avy and whilst I love the name Ivy, it is a name on its own as a pp said.
Id say Vivy too for reasons above and I'd also hold back om nicknames as they seem to be more spontaneous rather than planned x
I think I'd go for Vivy, simply because Ivy is a name in its own right and I'd assume Avy is a nn for Ava, whereas I think Vivy could be short for Olivia, Vivian, Genniveve... so people are more likely to ask what her name is and not assume it is something its not. If that makes any sense. Plus my DD's nn is Vivi (I guess that's how I'd spell it, pronounced Vee-vee) or Veevs and Vivy is similar so I'm leaning towards it our of bias

What is this a nickname for?

It'll be the name we call her most of the time. I'll introduce her as baby Vivy, if that's what we choose, and then put the whole name. Plus I hate the names Liv or Livvy, and don't want Olly used either really. I thought if we can choose which short form we like and want used then that's what will be used as opposed to another one.
