Hi Ladies :flower:

I have tried to search for the answer to this but can't find anything!

So for those ladies that check their CM, what is your CM like after AF?

I am CD8 and for the last couple of days I have had LOADS of really white, kind of clumpy/chunky CM.

I'm not sure what to put it as on FF? I've put it as creamy, because it's not really sticky and it doesn't match any of the other options!

Just wondering anyway if this is normal!

PS I am on day 3 of Clomid, don't know if that makes a difference! Clomid is actually meant to leave you a bit dry?!

My cm after af is creamy some cycles and dry other cycles. but most cycles is creamy.

Thanks Hun

Anyone else  :p

PS Nicole your chart is looking great!

If it's clumpy or chunky it might be yeast.

It should be creamy. Then it'll get thinner as you approach Ovulation... possibly turning watery and then finally, egg-white.

Thanks hun, I guess I always think of creamy/lotiony as having a smoother consistency... Will keep checking on it in the next few days...

yes, it should be like lotion. Like I said, if it's clumpy something else is happening. You might want to check for yeast, sometimes it doesn't even itch and your only clue is the clumpy cm.

Hmm ok I'll see if there's any change... I had similar clumpy but less white before AF as well....

sorry to go off topic, but i noticed in our sig you say you may have endo? ive suffered with this for years and wondered what symptons you have?

any questions feel free to ask xxxx

Hi Kelly :hi:

My main symptoms are random spotting throughout the month, and various pains as well, I get some pain during/after :sex: sometimes... And v long cycles but not sure that's endo related...

What are your symptoms? Have you had any treatment for it?

Hi SBB

I have no CM until around CD7 then it gets sticky, then goes creamy then lotiony then watery then back to lotiony, creamy, then sticky til AF. I never really get EWCM anyway.

Is it possible the clomid could have brought on a yeast infection?? As PrayerfulHope said you don't have to itch to have thrush. I remember cycle 1 ttc and I had some major yellowy clumpy CM like scrambled egg, I think that was a yeast infection

I guess it's possible... I think I'll wait a couple of days and if it's the same maybe get something like canesten for it... Because I've not done a whole cycle monitoring CM I just don't know if it's normal for me...

maybe speak to your doctor to see if its a side effect?xx

hiya, i dont really suffer with spotting through the month and amazingly my periods are as regular as clockwork!!
i do have a lot of pain during and after sex and have VERY painful a/f's and also a lot of pain in my bowel.

a few years back i had injections to put me through a 'pretend' menopause to try and dry my womb up but it soon came back :(

i had a laparoscopy last year where they found i had extensive endometriosis which they lazered away-my one tube was 'stuck' down but was damaged when they 'unstuck' it :(

i was told to try and conceive naturally for 6 months which didnt happen, so in november they put me on clomid.
january i had my 21 day progesterone test done and the results came back as 102 :happydance: which i was told was high enough to conceive twins!!!

sorry im rambling now-no bfp up to now-but never give up hope eh?

good luck hun xxxxx

well it's true :flower:

and I'm feeling down and moaning that I'm on cycle 3 and no bfp yet, with no known fertility problems - makes me feel ashamed to be thinking like that  xxx

Wow Kelly you're really up against it - I hope you get a little miracle soon...
Sounds like the Clomid is helping, and getting you ovulating - yipee!!

I also get very very painful AF on the first day, I just can't do anything and it wipes me out for the day...

I have my fingers crossed for you that this is your month :hugs: I agree with Ness, and definitely don't ever give up hope!

oh & I just googled Clomid and yeast infection and a few things came up, so I might go to the docs on Monday and see what they recommend...

oh glad you found something SBB! AF on the first day for me is hell too, I'm doubled over in pain xx

TTc is a very emotional journey whether you've been trying 3 months or 12 years!

we all experience the same dissapointments.

but we'll all get there in the end im sure :)

i hope you get your bfp soon hun xxxxx
