What should your uterus/bump feel like?

Hi Girlies,

I am nearly 24 weeks and the last couple of days I have noticed that my bump is literally rock hard to touch, my uterus is so hard! Is this how it should be? I don't know whether I might be experiencing Braxton Hicks cause sometimes it is harder than others, but it doesn't feel like it is tightening really, it just goes from being semi hard to rock hard!

I do have quite a big bump already but I just wondered what everyone elses bump feels like at round this stage!!!

my bump is pretty hard apart form the sides they are little squishy, not super soft bt not as hard as my middle from my pubic bone to about a inch above my belly button, somedays it rock hard and other like you semi hard! no idea if its B/hicks, do you feel some kinda contraction with b/hicks tho? xxx

Yeah I think so which i don't think I'm getting! But it's just so hard!!!!

ive had the odd cramp that has had me doubled over but only lasts a sec, id love to know more! hope some1 can help x

My bump goes rock hard sometimes when I'm lying down, or when LO decides to snuggle up to one side. I was told it was braxton hicks.

Mine just went rock hard a few minutes ago but I was standing up!

im 22 wks and my bump gets really hard as the day goes on, by the evening it feels as though more room in there and feels quite uncomfortable.

My bump feels quite hard most of the time. It sometimes feels tight and i wonder if it is maybe braxton hicks, but how long are these supposed to last? xx

the hardness you're feeling is probably where LO is laying at the time.

Mine goes hard and soft all the time, I tell myself it's baby's bum or back that I can feel.
