What the heck are these lines?? Warning: long!

Short story: Okay - I am 99.9 percent sure I am NOT pregnant. I’m not trying to be coy and round about ask if you guys see this line, because, THERE IS DEFINITELY A LINE. But what is it? It’s pinkish gray in person - and I’ve had them before when not pregnant. The first set was photographed 3 minutes after testing; the second set 10 min after testing. Is this a dye run? Can’t call it an evap right because what is evaporating in 10 minutes? I used to love FRER but anymore they can be so dodgy...

(Extra details) - My best friend is staying with us for a week while some home repairs are completed. She and her husband have been struggling with infertility for three years - shes going through IUI process now for the third time, and is understandably nervous, so today when she tested she asked me to do one with her - and I had extra FRER leftover - so we both took one. Her test looks just the same as these.... so she’s wondering wtf these lines are too...but it carries much more weight and importance for her as she’s hoping for it to be a bfp

It's hard to tell in the pic, are you maybe just seeing the indent? The indent of the test strip does tend to be quite visible on FRER.

I don’t *think* it’s the indent but I could be wrong - it appears a bit to the right of where I think the indent would be? Just has to be so so frustrating if you’re counting on a bfp because it really does look like a solid line in person

I always see a line when I do a FRER lately and every other test is stark white so I am guessing also a really promising INDENT. Over these tests!

I think it is a way to get people to buy more tests...

I do know that walmarts are known for indents but I also know I got an indent and it didn't show up with color until after like 30 minutes so if that is in the time frame you may be pregnant!

Welp...the whole reason I took the Walmart one is to prove how sh*tty the FRERs are with the mysterious weird line thing and how Walmart’s are always reliable even though they’re a fraction of the cost. perhaps it’s just an off afternoon lol I’ll try again later

Haha lol Oh no - not strong!! COMPULSIVE tester!! I’ve been known to use 50 or more in a cycle (emphasis on the more ) but I’m trying to be sensitive to my sweet friend who’s here - if she wasn’t staying I’d be knee deep in 3526 different brands and amazon would be delivering more TOMORROW!! There’s no possible way I could be pregnant, realistically. We had sex on Wednesday May 9 (maybe thurs) and I got a positive ovulation on the 13th. So then we were extra careful as I just got switched to a new bcp with iron (anemia) scheduled to begin next month surely these are just flukies!!

I'm seeing the lines, but FYI walmart tests have been known to give false pink lines (I've experienced several myself when I was NOT pregnant). That being said, the fact that they are on TWO different types of tests has me curious lol. Good luck!

Just want to add that my false lines all showed up a few minutes after the time frame, so if that was in the time frame it looks legit to me!

is the last Frer a different test? I see it more clearly on this one than the first.
