What theme are you doing for your tree?

Are you doing a colour theme or anything?

It's our first year so we need to buy a tree and ornaments lol so looking for ideas here. The only ornaments we have are Hello Kitty ones I've been collecting for the past few years

we have chocolate brown and gold ornaments which we've had for 3 christmasses now, but i fancy a change this year and am not sure which way to go either! It's a shame really because our tree decs cost a fortune and are in really good condition x

Keep what you have and add Teal coloured baubles - they go lovely with brown!

I have a white tree with pink, purple, bright blue and green decoration.

This will be our third year in our house, the first year we had green and gold baubles, last year we had gold and bronze and this year i'm thinking gold, cream and little bits of green and red. Wilkinsons have some lovely bits so already started buying baubles etc Im so lucky that OH doesn't mind me changing the theme each year

I never have a theme, I prefer the unmatched look. Lots of different colours and lots of funky little decorations from accerssorize. Love it!

Thats the way my mum used to do her tree, lots of different colours and different little bits, it always looked so lovely

Mostly red and gold but definelty alot of other colors thrown in there, I dont have a theme but I FILL my tree with SO many christmas balls......so beautifull!!! Cant wait!!

Ours is probably going to be icey blue and silver decorations on either a green or white tree. I want to put up the white tree this year but the stand is broke and I don't think my husband will let me buy a new white one

This is what I do too, all my babies have a bauble of their own, we have one with Honey's face on, and some that my children have made over the years. I love it.

The theme of our tree is 1940's retro.

Otherwise known as throw every colour of bauble and light and piece of tinsel at the tree and hope for the best.

No, seriously, I have a collection of very old baubles that i have inherited from family, as well as the new ones we bought for our first Christmas and the very expensive ones (Swarovski crystal snowflakes released every year) that we have bought for each year we have been married.

I would love a beautifully decorated, colour coordinated tree but it isn't going to happen unless we have two, one the usual riot of colour and one carefully themed.

Apparently graduating shades of banded colour are the theme for this year though. For example blue to purple to red to pink to orange to gold working the way up the tree to the top branches and star.

Mine has been purply/pink with silver and gold for the past 4 years....would love to get some new decs in more traditional colours but OH would pitch a fit if I bought new ones when ours are in such good condition.

I don't really have a theme I just pick up ornaments I like here and there and throw them all on the tree come Christmas I do collect snowmen so a good portion of them are snowman related though
