Just wondering what the average time of day is?
My venue said 12pm but I don't want a long wait between the wedding breakfast and when the evening reception starts, so was thinking about 2pm?
I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!!

Our wedding is at 1:30pm with the reception starting at 4pm.
We figured that would give us time to have our photos done and then the horse and carriage ride back to the reception....

I didn't want a big gap between the day and night so decided on these timings

Wedding Ceremony - 2pm
Reception drinks & photgraphs - 2.30pm
Sit down for Meal - 4pm
Meal, Cake Cutting, toasts etc finish at 6.30pm
Evening reception starts at 7.30pm

xxx

We have booked 4pm for the wedding then the reception can start at 6pm.. As we are doing all the food etc our selfs we figured we need a lot of time in the morning to get everything ready

Ours was 12.30 ceremony 1pm photos 3pm wedding breakfast then evening guesats at 7pm x

Woop!

That's what I've got to do now.
The venue is provisionally booked for the 3rd July 2013 but I need to book the registrar and they need a time. I think I'm going to go for 2pm then! Excited!!

I've booked the registrar provisionally! Got to ring them on wednesday with a deposit of £100 before it can be permenant but no-one else can take the date..
Jeez, all the costs are mounting up already.

Well we are spending the night before together, Will be going to get the Keys for the hall at 9am and from then till maybe 1pm? decorating, cooking, covering food ect We will also have family members there helping.. then at about 1pm or when ever we are done Oh and Kyle will go to the Inlaws to get ready and me and baby will get ready at our house and meet up at the Reg office for before 4pm as you have a little meeting before your actual wedding. Also give us time incase we have forgotten anything to run to the shops

i think we may end up doing this tbh seems a lot easier really than what we have planned :-/
i can =t believe how far ive got into planing allready lol

lol sorry to butt in (not a bride lol ) but i wanted to say cos i think its funny(well ya know sort of ) ... that i am going to a wedding, november 11th wedding is at 11 am

Think about it ?! :/ ahha x

2:45pm. we originally booked for 2pm but i wanted it a little later so that there wasn't a big gap between the marriage and reception, as i know registry office ceremonys are quite short xx

We did originally want an 11am wedding on 11/11/11 but it's been fully booked on the entire day for ages :(

So instead we ended up with a 9/11/11 wedding instead

.. oh i would of thought an 11/11/11 at 11 wedding would be something people would want to avoid lol :/ i was gobsmacked when i heard lol maybe i'm just odd ::p x

We wanted it so that OH could easily remember our anniversary...His memory is shocking :haha:

We're unusual in that we'll have two wedding anniversaries though....Our first one is 7/6/11 and our second will be 9/11/11

We got married at 3pm... our day went like this ..

3pm - Ceremony
3.15pm - Drinks Reception (which also included doing some photos)
4pm - 3 course sit down meal
6.30pm - Speeches and cake cutting
7.30pm - Reception started
12am - Reception finished

We found the timing to be perfect and I really enjoyed that we had plenty of time to get ready before the wedding. It meant that my flat was a very relaxed and chilled out place, there was no drama or rushing about ... bliss!

We're getting married at 2pm (civil ceremony)
