I'm wondering as my LO's bedtime has suddenly changed!

I've been very lucky with Emily as she has always gone to bed about 8.30 and slept through but the past week she has started staying awake til 10.15!
She has had a bit of trouble with teething this week but I don't think thats the reason as she is usually fine by the evening. I give her a bath about 8pm, then story ,feed and bed but now instead of getting sleepy after her bath it just seems to make her more alert even though she shows signs of tiredness before her bath. It doesn't seem to make any difference if we get up earlier or have less naps in the day, she just does not want to go to sleep, little monkey!

Any suggestions?? has anyone had the same thing and managed to make bedtime earlier again? xx

Gabriel used to go to bed at 10:30. He's slowly started going to bed earlier and now goes to sleep around 9. Some nights he'll still stay up till 10:30. As long as he's not grumpy then I don't mind.

My daughter used to stay up late, but we slowly we every night we started putting her to bed 15 mintues earlier then the previous night. She is now in bed at around 8pm and sleeps until about 8:30-9am.
in the beginning even if she screamed, we just let her cry it out, because it's bedtime. now whenever I put her down she just knows that it is quiet time and she usually is alseep within 10 minutes.

My LO goes to bed between 10 and 10:30, but we are about to start working on getting it to 9.

Ill be stalking this thread for tips as my LO only ever goes to bed after 11. Some night it reaches 2 am and im still sitting here rocking him to sleep! :haha:

I do love his 'sleepy' faces though. Flailing his arms around with his eyes half open half closed while babbling... you'd swear he'd been on the bevvy!

6.30pm latest for Gaby. I love her to bits but I need some time to myself in the evenings, is that terrible? Going to bed at this time is all she has ever known and I hope that doesn't change any time soon!!!

Until she was 6 weeks it was about 9, then at 6 weeks it was 8-8, gradually as she becmae more active it went to 7:30 and is now pretty settled at 7 -7 (sometimes 8 if we're extra lucky). She has done all this herself x

Start bedtime routine at 7.30 bath massage bottle and she's always asleep by 8.30 xx

Elliot goes to bed at 7pm :) he doesnt sleep through yet though, although last night, instead of giving him a bottle when he wakes I just gave him his dummy back, had to do that about 4 times throughout the night, but he went straight back to sleep, so fingers crossed he will start sleeping through

But he has been going to bed (in his own cot in his own room) at 7pm for about 10 weeks now

Usually we bath at 7 and she's asleep by 8/half 8. Feeds at half 3 then up at half 7/8 for the day xx

Bath at around 6, bottle and in bed by 7. MOST OF THE TIME! Unless Ben has other ideas :)

Bath at 6.30pm and usually asleep by 7pm. Its gradually got earlier, it was 9pm when she was about 3 months old and has recently crept to 7pm as she has dropped her late afternoon nap so is tired earlier than she used to be. x

Between 8 and 8.30 but when shes a little older we plan to start putting her down at around 7pm

We start at 6pm - dont do the bath in the evening and it still takes over an hour and I am usuallyin front of the TV by 7.30pm. They sleep till we get up at 6am xx

730pm. Now the sleep regression/growth spurt is easing off, she is settling back into her old pattern of waking once a night then getting up for the day at 7ish. She is not quite back to that yet, but is getting there - Tues night she woke at 12, 3 and up for the day at 7. Last night she woke at 230, 530 and up for the day at 830!! I think what she really wanted was to get up at 530!!

Sometimes she won't go to bed til 8/830 if things have kept it back for some reason, and she will then be more difficult to get off as she has got a second wind and is over-tired. I thought about pushing her back to 830 all the time, but it doesn't actually make a difference to her sleep positively.

I consider myself lucky but I've actually never set a routine - this all came about by following her cues. She has a bath at about 7pm.

7.30 for Gracie but used to be 8.30. She would only take about 2 ounces when she was going to bed at 8.30 because she was exhausted. She would then wake up after 8-9 hours of sleep so i changed it to 7.30 and she now has 6 ounces and sleeps 7.30-7.30 :happydance:

He normally falls asleep between 9 and half past, wakes twice and gets up btween 6.30 and 7
