What to ask for at Baby Shower

Hi Ladies,

The girls at work are throwing me a shower and want to know what I need...but i'm having problems thinking of things. I already have most of the big things:Car seat, stroller, crib, swing, bouncers, jumpers, playmats....I need a breast pump, diaper bag, and bath stuff...

Any other idea?

Hey honey!!

No one knows the sex apart from me & OH ( & no one knows we know either!! lol! ) so im adamant i dont want neutral things which is what id end up with otherwise!

Ive put a list together including these:
Bath toys
White Hooded baby towels
Jumperoo
White cotbed fitted sheets
Childrens Books for any age!!
1st aid kit inc thermometer etc
Black car sun blinds
Car rear view mirror
Nursery thermometer
Bumbo
White unisex sleeping bag
Door bouncer

maybe you can pick a few bits from here ( as i have all the bigs things too for a newborn so thought ahead a few months instead )

Ask for bigger sized clothing.......6-9 mths and 9-12 mths, always comes in handy. Around here, a lot of people also have diaper showers. Everyone buys you diapers in various sizes. If you're not breast feeding, let people know the brand of formula you would be using and they can buy cases of that as well.

it really is hard!!! i had to think for a couple of weeks to get my small list together!!

thing is ive been buying nappies, cotton wool etc etc as ive been dong my weekly shop so have a fairly good supply to keep me going of everything like this.... I have all the big things, furniture, car seat, sterilizers etc etc...

so had to think outside of the box a bit.....even things like photo frames id be so fussy with!!! id want it all to match my tastes & the nursery/my front lounge decor....i honestly wouldnt use anything that i didnt feel 'went', i know im snob but hv spent so long getting my house looking gorgeous!! haha!

so yeah toys & things i think are the best bet for myself as ive not bought ANY toys yet!!xx
