Tegan will be 28 months at Christmas. We have a problem though, i don't know what to get her. She loves dollies and cars and everything really, but she can't use her legs so we can't get her anything she would have to stand up/walk/be able to move around freely to use. She can commando crawl and is getting a wheelchair just before xmas.

So far she's got things like a play microwave, kettle, toaster etc. Waybuloo and ITNG stuff because she really loves those. We're getting her a play tent. She has loads of colouring stuff, Moon sand and play-doh... I am just really stuck for a 'big' present? You know, a main one? HELP please!

Oh and she has no mental development problems, in that way she is a normal two year old :flower:
Thanks xx

how about an Easil, as she would be able to draw even whilst in her chair, Lilly is going to be 3 in Feb so she is not much older and weve got her a ztech camera and a ds as part of her main presents xx

Ooooh good idea about the ds hun, she would love that :) We are so stuck about what to get her :(

I found alot of the games with 3+ seemed a little complicated, the peppa pig games, and nintendogs seem really easy to use though for 2-3 year olds xx

What about a dolls house? She chould sit in the floor and play with it or raised if she's in her chair? Maybe a 'my first remote control car' thing ... how is her balance? We got Jessica a little quad bike that is operated by a button on the handlebar rather than footpedal because of her amputation (they always seem to have the pedal on the right side and thats her 'bad' leg) Hope you find the perfect present for your gorgeous girl xXx

i was going to suggest a dolls house :haha: or a water & sand table that she could play in sat in her chair
the ds sounds like a good idea as well
hope you find the perfect pressie x

The first thing I thought of was a doll's house too. Kaysie is getting a train set as one of her main presents, hers is chugginton but it could be Thomas or what ever, a big enough set would mean sitting in the middle.

Hi,

i just saw didicars in the ELC catalogue and thought of you & this thread. I don't know what your little girl's balance is like so they might not be suitable but they are powered by turning on the steering wheel not pedalling etc.

Thankyou so much!! I have seen those before but I totally forgot about them. I am adding one of those onto her list! :) x
