My DS is 2 in a few weeks and I have absolutely no idea what to get him as a present???

What are your 2year olds playing with? Need some present ideas/inspiration!

A big truck, a tractor and lots of farm animals is my sons favorites

I'm planning to get Omar a kitchen for his 2nd birthday. I love the Ikea one.

He loves anything to write on, we got him an easel from Ikea 2 months back & he loves it.

A doll & a pram/buggy, a tea set or a car garage.

Balls, scooter, mega bloks, elc castle, little people garage, pirate ship, musical instruments

Her kitchen and all the food bits and she loves her play house.

I was thinking possibly a kitchen! Will have to check the ikea one out!

Holly had a wooden kitchen with lots of toy food and pots and pans - and she plays with it for hours!! That and her Melissa and Doug magnetic fishing games (on Amazon, they are lovely).

Just slap a bow round it!!

Children love the funniest things :)

Our children both LOVE the 'little people sets' you can get. I literally just bought 4 sets from ebay second hand (in 'new' condition) for £25.

We gave it to them as parent evening at nursery said they both adore it and we got that much we're saving two sets for each of them for Christmas.

Maybe ask your nursery (if he's at one) for a parents evening and find out what he likes from them?

Charlie loves all things Happyland just now, his Scuttlebug, musical instrument toys (guitar, keyboard, bongos), cars, diggers, tractors, lorries, motorbikes, buses, scooters etc etc

The toilet bowl i must admit is a favourite here too. Other than that he loves his jcbs, toy garage, cars, and his mega bloks.

My Daniel (2 years old) loves his remote controlled car. And everything suitable for 3 years +. :haha:

My LO's really in to stickers at the moment. We have a big drawing book and buy packs of little stickers and she has a great time sticking them into her book (and everywhere else ). Could be a cheap and cheerful option.

H loves her easel with letters and chalkboard to draw on! Loves her swing and slide too. She also loves "dog dogs" so will be getting her a little walky yappy toy dog for her birthday. :)

My nearly two year old plays with anything thats in the house - including a love of my 4 yr olds pants lol.

She has a Playmobil set that she 'plays' with. Alao crayons she loves. I don't honestly think that you need to spend much on them - DD plays with toys my DS was given - the Playmobil is pretty much the only toy she has been given.

One thing that both of my two have loved is the noah's ark on this page:

they have both played a lot with it and we've only had to change the batteries once in 3 years
