Just a bag of things he likes, his favourite coffee that he rarely buys because it's expensive, some dark chocolate, red bull, a lottery ticket, pork rinds, more chocolate, candy. I'll make him a card either tonight or Wednesday.

I'd rather not have to buy a card out of principle but normally DH gets me one so to save face I might have to.

We had our Valentines day two days ago because OH works twelve hour shifts, seven days a week and he had a rare day off. I didn't get him anything, I never do, is that bad?

I just got him a card and he got me a card, some flowers and a box of chocolates. But we went out for a meal later that night too, we were planning to go to the pictures as well but there wasn't anything we fancied on.
