Tell me all about your HSG!
I've been offered a HSG by my assisted conception unit and I'm in two minds whether or not to take them up on it.
I'm 31 and have been TTC for nearly a year. One cycle lasted for nearly 50 days and a couple of cycles we weren't doing it at the right time, so I guess we've had about 8-9 cycles of trying in all - and four of those have been with Clomid (50mg the first cycle, 100mg the next three).
I have another 3 months of Clomid to try - if that doesn't work I think we'll have a few more natural cycles (I do ovulate on my own, just not regularly/every cycle) and then IVF.
I would like the peace of mind that my tubes are clear and there's nothing else going on - but I'm terrified of the procedure itself.
I would MASSIVELY appreciate any replies from ladies who've had an HSG and had a good or bad experience - to help me make up my mind.
