What were your first signs of labor, other than breaking waters and contractions....

How did you feel the week before, days before?

I was induced at 38 & 2 due to low amniotic fluid that day. I was getting 2x weekly afi's due to protein in my urine. I knew I had started to dilate but on that day I was already 3cm and 75% effaced. Didn't have any symptoms and wouldn't have had any idea that I was in early labor had my OB not checked me that day.

Was sent to the hospital around 7pm where they broke my water and at 8:53am the next morning, I had my son. Was told he was going to be 7lbs but he was 8.4.

my baby was going mad kicking boxing !!!!!! he did so much movig i thought hes head had moved or something i was told my baby would go very quite it was bull he kicked hes way out xxxx

I just knew!!! I had AF symptoms for a couple of weeks before, suddenly became manic about cleaning the house and making lists, packing bag for hospital etc...

The night my contractions started, I had no pain, just slight tightenings that happened a bit more regularly than BX - I woke the OH and said ' I think Im in labour' but couldnt explain how I knew I was - just had a 'feeling' I was.... went downstairs and made a cup of tea - then thought 'oh I had better try and have a poo!'!! (was really paranoid about pooing during birth!!) and when I was on the loo, I heard a 'pop, pop' sound and my waters gushed out!

I had serious AF cramping the day before, I also felt kinda woozy the week before I went into labor. I woke up in the middle of the night and had bloody show, then my water broke about 30 mins after the first site of blood.

i lost my mucus plug 2 weeks before, then 3days before i was obsessed with packing and repacking my hospital bag, then my water went while i was in bed asleep, it woke me up coz i thought id wet myself! Then my contractions started (just like on tv! Haha) had contractions every 3mins, i then spent the next 5hrs walking around the house and going to the loo having a clear out - sorry if tmi. I used a whole roll of loo roll! Then when i got to hospital i had my bloody show when i went to do a unine sample. Had my baby 10.5hrs from my first contraction xxx
