whats a normal fetal hb at 10+ weeks?

    My LO registers around 163-170bpm.
    Is this normal or too high?????

    Sounds perfect to me -ours was always around 165 bpm.

    When i had my scan on Thursday it had 162bpm and the nurse reckons its going to be a boy, so we shall see

    my sons was around 168bpm too...

    I had my first scan at 10 +6 and our little ones HB was 162bpm. Very normal hun xx:thumbup:

    my babys heartbeat was 162bpm at 7weeks and they saud that was great!.. and at 12 weeks its still 160bp,

    Both my babies have HB's in the 170's now. Went up to 180's on one of them a couple weeks ago, but now normalized there. I think they settle in the 150's - 160's by the long run.

    I know this is probably too much detail then required but it is completely normal in the 1st trimester of pregnancy to have a fetal heart rate running at the higher end due to the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system competing with each other. Then with maturity of these systems the Fetal heart settles to a lower baseline :) Fascinating
