whats a nub and how can you tel :)

    hiya girls.
    whats a nub theory? and how can you tell? and how accurate is it?
    from lookin at my 12 week scan pic on my avatar what would you say im expecting girl or boy? :D
    i have 1 son so would love lil girl :D

    basically when u have a scan the "nub" is the baby's private bits. when u look at it from the side if the degree is 30 or more its likely to be a boy if its less then 30 degrees and looks more parrallel to the spine its most likely to be a girl. There is also a skull theory, the skull tends to be more rounded for a boy and flatter for a girl :)

    and those are the gueeses I have had so far 0:) ...But be a miracle as I have 6 boys and 2 girls and 4 boys born after my last daughter lol...im blessed to have boys/girls just happy buba id like 0:) ...Can I ask you where the nub is ? only reason I ask is coz in the 2nd pic there seems to be 2 lines one above the bold white line and I dunno what that is lol xxx

    oh god noooooooooo lol this is my 9th child what I meant was after my Last Daughter was born (4th child) i had 4 boys in a row...cor blimey nope wont be going to 13 ive a grandchild on way too lol ....ahhhhhhhhh I see so the bold white area on my pic would be the nub not the other line above it? Thank you for sharing this with me my lovely :flower:

    Wow! still 9 kids though! i see what u meant now lol sorry baby brain! and r welcome :thumbup:

    Mummy2010 - im leaning towards boy although its not that clear the angle to me looks more then 30 degrees and the skull is more rounded :)

    I would to hear if im right on any of these guesses lol :blush:

    Mummy - i say BOY! The skull is indeed more rounded and though the nub isn't clear.. the line im looking at is more than 30 degrees.
