Hi! Here's the story: I got a beta hCG blood test nearly two weeks ago, and it was negative (0.89), but my progesterone was high so I had already ovulated. Then I got a positive test 8 days later. I'm trying to work out what DPO I was when I had the blood test... I know it has to be between 1DPO and 14DPO... but I'm guessing even by 10DPO a blood test would have been positive? How early would one definitely get a positive blood test by?
I think (though I don't know for sure) that a blood test could pick it up as early as 6 or 7dpo and a urine test can pick it up 7 or 8 dpo. Obviously it depends on the person though, hcg progression is not an exact science. Hope that helps!
Test line was stronger than control at 3w +6d, I retested at 4w 3d and it was still stronger than the control.
