I had a Copper T IUD removed about a month ago, it was in for just over 10 years and expired in June. I never had any problems with it except for once when it tried to escape all of a sudden. I have always been sensitive to sensations ect... but since it's been out I have had nothing but twinges, fleeting pains, and flutters. I am on cd5 right now. I thought AF was late but then did some figuring and relaized my cycle has lengthened this last half year or so and it was prob on right on time. But AF was/is weird right now (light, strange colors, globbery). I tested BFN and am confident with the results, although I did have super sore boobs, fatigue, and nausea for a while this cycle with all the twinging.

Does anybody have expereince with how the body reacts to the removal of copper IUD's or what affects, if any, copper ions have on hormones?

Thanks!
