When are you packing your hospital bag?

I'm 28 weeks now and have had 2 dreams that baby is coming early. I know dreams don't mean anything and chances are he'll be overdue, but it has got me thinking about packing my hospital bag.

Just wondering when you ladies packed/are going to pack yours?

I've packed most of mine, i spent a week in hospital at 29 weeks with a kidney infection and various other things and the doctors didnt know if baby was gonna come early so i wish i had already packed it so i could have had some of the stuff instead of my OH and mum scrambling around trying to find everything i needed. I think around now is a good time to start getting things together x

I started packing mine at 36 weeks. Im 37+4 today and its still not completely done. Getting there though! x

Mine is pretty much all ready to go. Just need to buy some more knickers and vests. Online shop came yesterday so have packed a couple of cans of coke and breakfast bickies for OH.

I'm half packed, I could go with whats in there but want to get some nice bits n pieces (prob non essential but never mind!). Only problem Ive had with packing mine early is that I now stare at it in anticipation, but Ive been doing that at the pushchair and moses basket anyway!xxx

Going to wash LO's clothes first get all her stuff ready then pack up mine, probably in a few weeks I'll be doing that.

Haven't even bought the stuff to go in it yet :/ Have got a bag though lol. I'm 33 weeks but that means nothing with the amount of people going in early!

I started at 30 weeks and just got things little by little and I've been completely done for about 2 weeks now. Everyone thought my girl would be here early even my doctors but i'm still here, but i'm glad I got the bag out of the way.

Hm I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and only started the other day. Beanie's is more or less done. Mine is more or less empty. Convincing myself I have all the time in the world ! With Summer my mum ended up doing mine at 38 weeks cause she was fed up of waiting on me to do it haha!

i'm off on a mini break next week so will be using the bags I need for me and LO then. After i've cleaned them out i'll start packing hospital bits over the course of a few weeks. so probably between 31 and 35 weeks i aim to pack

i have started but only the very very essentials (maternity pads, nappies, babies clothes, towels) to be honest i wont be packing a great deal anyway as i am planning on a home birth so its only being packed as an emergency in case i get transferred in

Just started figuring out what I need- will have it ready to go around 34 weeks. I didn't start it last time until I was IN labor and forgot most everything.

I finished mine a couple of weeks ago. But then I panicked and went back and re-did it. And again, and again, taking things out and adding things each time. I keep changing my mind about what baby clothes to take, what I want to come home in. I have a carseat foot muff and a snow suit, will decide which to use, if not both on the day. I think I'm over-packed, but then I think do I have enough nappies and changes of vests etc and add more. I think I have too much time on my hands just now...

I'm gonna start putting mine together this weekend. Just hope I dont freak out again once I pick up the ting baby grows. Eeeeek

I started doing the bags at 30 weeks and they still aren't finished. I've just really run out of steam these last few weeks so I'd advise you to get ready early if possible as I feel like every task is a chore to far now!

I have finished the baby's bag though, it's just mine that needs a bit of attention and even then I just need to gather up a few toiletries and I'll be done! The car seat is also in the car along with a bag containing blankets, snowsuits, extra nappies, bottled water and snacks.

I've started getting things and will pack mine properly once I've got everything. Baby's will be done once I've washed all the clothes which I'll probably do around 34/35 weeks. Want both bags done by 36/37 weeks

I'm going to be packing it around 34/35weeks after my next pay comes in so I can go and buy all the things I need for it. If I went in suddenly before I'd got things my mam would know where everything is and Asda is on our way to the hospital so she'd nip back after I was safe and ok and get anything I didn't have anyways
