When did I ovulate?

If I got a positive on an OPK on 3rd May does this mean my ovulation day would be the 3rd? Or the 4th? I’m trying to figure out if I’m 7dpo or 8dpo?

Sorry I can't help much as I'm new to opks myself have you tried doing your bbt and charting that with fertility friend or other apps

I’ve tried doing bbt / charting before but doing everything together was sort of stressing me out so I decided to just use the CLUE app and OPK’s... I know I definitely got a positive OPK last Sunday so I’m certain the test was correct... I’m just a little confused whether you count the day you get a positive OPK or if it’s the day after since you aren’t technically meant to ov until AFTER the positive OPK..

Yea I'm not to sure either but tend to see people say the day after but not 100% sure myself

Ovulation occurs 6-48 hours after your positive opk. It Varys person to person and with age.

The only way you’ll know when you ovulated is to bbt.

I personally ovulate about 12-24 hours after a near positive x
