When did you find out babies sex?

Just wondering if I am totally delusional here in thinking I might find out sooner than 20 weeks. Did any of you find out sooner than 20 weeks? My sister went in at 12 and they said they though boy, but I know that's not the norm. I am going or a scan when I am btwn 12-13 weeks and 13-14 weeks (my due date is up in the air still a bit). Is there any way they might be able to tell me or is it way too early? I know the place I am going to on tuesday has 3D and I think my OB might as well.

I found out this past week but only because my friend is an u/s tech. But most women in this area do not find out until their 18-20 week ultrasound. Most women just don't get an opportunity before then even though it's possible to see for weeks before then.

I was between 18-20 with all three of my girls. Just had my 20 week scan a couple days ago with this one when we found out she is a girl. HOWEVER, My sister found out she was having a boy just a couple days past 12 weeks. So I know it's possible. Maybe less likely, but definitely possible! Good luck hun!

Thanks everyone. Honestly I think daydreaming about finding out the babies sex is just a distraction from my anxiety about the NT scan. I am such a worrier. Sometimes I wonder why I am even doing this test at all. Oh yeah because on top of being a worrier I am also a planner. I don't like surprises. I know the chances of the baby having a problem is low for my age (29), but I still worry. So thinking about the baby being a healthy boy/girl I guess makes me feel a little better. I suppose I am trying to use creative visualization

we found out at 16weeks3days! private 2d/4d scan she noticed straight away! hehe going for our last 2d/4d scan next week 26weeks.

We found out at exactly 16 weeks and I had it checked at the 20 week scan and it was again confirmed at the 24 week scan - and they will probably show us yet again at the 4d scan when I am nearly 30 weeks. Here (in South Africa) we get more scans though then are offered overseas - the gynae said he was pretty confident he would get it right at 16 weeks, but he always has the next scan to check anyway.

Im finding out at my 20 week scan which i will actually be 21weeks but its on 1st Dec so weere going to ask them to put scan pics and sex in an envelope and open on xmas day well thats the plan hehe xxx

i had a scan at 14+6 to check some spotting i was having and the lady said 95% boy. I had this confirmed on friday at my 20 week scan

We found out ours at a private scan at 16 weeks and it was later confirmed at our 20. From what I've heard you can see if it's a boy quite early on which is why you'll hear most people with boys findout really early. But I wouldn't trust it's a girl until after the 16th week. And even if I'm being honest even then things maybe haven't fully formed so that's why I was dead set on getting it confirmed at my 20 week appt. I was just too darn impatient to wait and had to go at 16 weeks. hahaha. Once she told me it was a girl though I was still holding out on getting excited until the 20th week.

Found out at 14 + 1 that we are having a little boy and was re- confirmed at our 20 week scan that he is still indeed a little boy lol
