When did you start to show in your first pregnancy?

I should be so excited that the nausea has passed and I can stay awake past 7pm, but now I don't even feel pregnant, which is a bit discouraging since I've essentially been in first trimester since August (mc + this pregnancy). Now I'm 14 weeks and I'm getting so impatient! Of course one of the things I'm excited about is getting a baby bump, and it's a bit discouraging to see other people around the same stage who are starting to show already.

Here are my questions: When did you start to show in your FIRST pregnancy? When did it become noticeable to the people around you? What kind of body type did you have pre-pregnancy?

Thanks girls :flower:

i started showing i think officially at 15 weeks but my tummy popped out immediately (bloat) as soon as i got preggo.

*edit*
oh i didn't see the questions lol
i think people started to notice at about 17-20 weeks.
and i am very petite (4'11) and fairly thin to average for my height. (119-120 pre preg)

I think I noticed from pretty early on say 14/15 weeks that I looked a bit different but my bump wasn't really big enough to be noticeable to others until about 20 weeks - since then it's really taken off and I've 'popped' as a colleague said :-)

I'm tallish (5'8) and average weight about a UK size 12/14.

my first pregnancy it was about 26 weeks, this time it was about 16-17 (when it properly popped, not just bloat :) )

oops for got to add, i was size 8-10 1st pregnancy and a 10-12 this time round :)

I started showing at 14, mainly 15 weeks but it's not very noticeable to those who still don't know that I'm pregnant. I knew I was getting bigger when I couldn't wear my favourite pencil skirt anymore! However I don't know how long it will be until others will start to notice for definite.
I'm fairly tall (5ft 8) and a UK Size 10-12 (140lb pre-pregnancy) xx

We were just saying this morning we can't think when I got a bump as we both see me every day!!

I'm fairly small, 8/10 and even now at 23 weeks, don't have a huge bump and haven't put on any weight as such and I guess looking at the photos, it was probably about the 14 /15 week mark I can see a difference in my tummy :flower:

As far as others go, I was in my usual sandwich shop at lunch the other day and the lady only noticed as I was rubbing Missy so I guess she has became fairly obvious recently.

xxx

I noticed a bump almost straight away..around 10week's but that was mainly bloat, took more of a bump form around 13weeks.
Iv always had a bit off a belly on me tho, I was a size 16 and my height about 5ft8+
Only person that's mentioned my bump is my OH's dad last week..but he knew I was pregnant, haven't really seen anyone to talk to who doesn't know im expecting.

I'm nearly 17 weeks and still don't even have a bump I can see, never mind anyone else! n

Will definitely come back and update once the bump appears. It's so interesting to see how differently people's bumps develop!

Probably only really in the last week or so and im now 20 weeks!

Mine has JUST started to look like a bump (literally overnight!!) and i'm 15 weeks + 2 days and wasnt thin pre-pregnancy at all!! 5'2" and 11 stone!! (UK size 14-16)

I was about 15 weeks when I started to show...probably closer to 18-19 when others could notice/said something.

I was a size 12 US/Canadian sizes pre-preg.

Only in the last week really to everyone else, but to me it was noticable at 16 weeks.

I've been bloated and unable to fit into my usual jeans since about 12 weeks, but it's only really this week that it's starting to look like a bump rather than fat. I had a bit of a belly on me anyway as I was a UK size 16/18 pre pregnancy x

I started to show so that others noticed at about 17 weeks. I am tall and plus-size though, so might have showed earlier if I were slimmer.

Hope that helps.

xx

Bloated straight away (maybe overactive imagination ) but only really just started to get a little bump I can notice. Just seems to be filling out at the moment and I'm 14 weeks.

I just started to show. (21 weeks)
I was a size 9US so I wasn't tiny but I wasn't very big

UK size 8-10(with a pair of size 12's in the cupboard for days of overindulgence) and about 5'8" tall. I ditched the size 8's around 9 weeks but that was largely down to Christmas and I've been exclusively in my size 12's for a month or two now. Over the last week or so I feel like I've got a belly on me and my husband reckons it's getting quite big but I was out shopping the other day and had to stop for a cuppa and a sit down as I was feeling knackered and some girl came up to me and told me I should give her my seat as she was pregnant... Great. Baby not even all that small according to scan - guess it would explain why I'm thinking of moving my desk into the loos at work for the next few months...

23 weeks today

I started fairly early around 16 weeks, but I worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor, so I think it was easier for people to tell in a swimsuit. In clothing probably 18 weeks or so with my first, but strangely enough, with my second it was about 20 weeks, and now this one I am showing already (although no one comments quite yet). I guess each pregnancy varies. I hate showing though...you get the dumb questions, tummy rubs, and stares. LOL! But, I hate being the centre of attention. I have a friend who never looked pregnant EVER. Her sister is pregnant, a week ahead of me, and she is still buttoning up her jeans. Everyone is different hon, and as hard as it may be, try not to compare tummies.
