For most women they don't need to wear them after six weeks, at the latest. With me I have noticed that wearing breastpads actually triggers a let down but if I wear a decently fitting bra (not a tight one though) that is enough to prevent any leaks xx
coreys 7 weeks and i still leak between feeds but alot less then i used to. and the let down only happens when coreys sleeping n doesnt feed as much as normal.
omg I feel so thick!! I was getting worried that I dont seem to leak as much anymore I thought it meant my milk was going. I leaked the whole time with my little girl and my little boy died before BF had really got established properly x
I still wear them, but I only leak when I'm late for a pump session or a feed. Also, one side leaks when he feeds on the other side. But it's no where near as bad as those early weeks. It got better every week after that first month.
Of course, I also leak a lot at night, but I don't wear pads then. I just sleep on a towel.
