Hi girls, my Lo is 7 weeks old and is still waking at midnight, 2.30am, 4.30am and then 7am for feeds (I'm bottle feeding). What age did your LO'S stop waking through the night or dropping to just one feed?. I'm praying he will stop waking soon as i'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired!!!!!. Thanks.

Alex started sleeping through at 6 weeks (when I say sleeping through, his last bottle was at 10pm and then he didn't wake until about 4am for his next feed). He started going 12 hours at around 10 weeks. There's nothing you can really do - it's something they will sort out for themselves when they're ready. x

Tobi was feeding similar at 7 weeks. He only dropped to one feed a night once he went into his own room and we did some sleep trainging. So that was at 16 weeks ish. he EBF

kane dropped to 11pm dream feed and one feed at 3a.m at 10 weeks then slept through with no dream feed at 14 weeks

give it time hun, all babies are different , my last daughter didnt slept through and still fed at night untill 7 months

x

Emily is 12 weeks and feeds at 11pm then 2-3am then wakes up at 6am! When I hear people saying there babies slept through from 3 weeks+ it makes me so jealous!

the first 4weeks i had to wake H for his bottles every 3hrs, then he woke every 3hrs for the next week, at 6weeks he dropped his midnight feed then over the next 2 weeks he was feeding 9pm 2/3am then 6. Then at 10weeks he went 9/10pm till 6. At 15weeks he now goes 9/10pm till 6.30/7.30am. Babies will only drop a feed when ready, you cant force it. I think women who are breastfeeding get the tougher end of the deal at BF babies tend to feed more often xxx

Mine's still having two small feeds a night. 8 months and tried weaning her off but she's not having it. Will try again in a month as some babies need feeds till 9 months or a year.

Hahaha - Sorry, still waiting. :coffee:

Aisling started sleeping through (7.30/8pm-7am) at 3 months old, stopped at 4 months old, started again at 5 months old, stopped again at 6 months old and has been pretty good from 7 months old. So just bear in mind that when they do start, it might not be forever - I remember the 4 month growth spurt coming as a massive shock as I'd got used to having a bit of sleep again!

Daisy started sleeping 10-12 hours from 3 months, has done ever since although had the occasional night she fancied a bottle x

Honestly it was 7 months when we had the odd night 8 months when id say we were properly sleeping through.

DD is 10 weeks. Until two nights ago, we counted ourselves lucky to get one 4 hour stretch in the night, aside from that it was every 3 hours or less.

Two nights ago we put her into a cot instead of her moses basket. Both nights since then she's gone from 7pm to 8am with just one feed around 4 :happydance:

Hang in there, things might just click into place suddenly in the next couple of weeks.

Mine woke up 4 times a night until 14 months............. :(

Alexa is 4 months and still doesn't sleep through
she goes to bed at 7pm wakes for a feed at 11pm and 4am and gets up about 9am

8 months and not yet by a long stretch!! She wakes every hour some nights :coffee:.

Darcy woke at 1am, 3am, 5am and 7am until she was about 6 weeks. She went into her own cot at this stage as she was getting quite big and she almost immediately went to waking at 2am and 5am - but this also coincided with after a growth spurt and her bottles going up an oz. In the last couple of weeks she has dropped the 2am and only wakes at around 4am now. She's 12 weeks old. She has always gone down after her last bottle and bath at 8pm and we dreamfeed her half a bottle at 10pm. As our day starts at 6.30am - I must admit, I can't wait for when she drops that final feed!
I think having a bedtime routine really helps.

We have only just had the last 3 nights sleeping through. LO's now 14 weeks, is now fully formula fed, (has been for last 3 wks), & has his last feed between 10 & 11 pm & then sleeps til 7-8am!! Fingers crossed this lasts!!
