I can't wait until my LO laughs, she's always smiling and has started doing excitable squeals so hopefully it won't be too long :)

How old was your LO when they started doing proper laughs?

He laughed at 10 weeks i think for the 1st time but it wasnt a regular (a few times a day) think till around 14 weeks

My DD is 15 weeks now, I think she's a slow developer on the laughing front!

All babies are diff my lb still shows very little ambition to roll im pretty sure he could if hed put a bit more effort in but ged rather scream and have me mive him. Some peoples babies roll at 2months etc

Haha, it's funny you'd say about rolling as she started rolling front to back at 10 weeks! As you say, they do it all at their own pace. I'm just impatienty waiting for that laugh :)

Sophie was 4 months corrected (ie she was born in March 2010, but her due date was June 2010, and we have to go by her due date for her development, so that's her "corrected age"!)

She has this little soft doll thing and DH was making it dance in front of her, and she just suddenly did the funniest laugh ever! It was a real proper chuckle and ever since then she hasn't stopped laughing. In fact, she's still laughing right now, at midnight :haha: - I just recorded a little video of her giggling over the baby monitor  She has the most hilarious, manic laugh - it never fails to make DH and I laugh too!

Ive only just started getting proper giggles from charlie and shes 13months! She just did them high pitched squeels! Shes a very serious baby and often looks at me like ive turned into a giant alien or something when im trying to make her laugh!

Aw, that is so so sweet!

Maybe I'm not funny enough, I'm going to make a special effort to act like a clown :haha:

My lo was around 6 weeks when dvd first started laughing and giggling out loud. X

He was about 9 weeks when he first chuckled, but didn't really laugh properly until he was 3.5 months old.

our LO started giggling about 3 weeks ago, it was so funny and shes done it again since a few times :)

Ive managed to catch it and record it bless her.

I think they do it at all different ages and it was something totally random that set her off!

x

Sophie doesn't laugh or giggle yet :). She does lots of smiles and squeels and the likes though!

LO has always been a noisy baby so distinguishing a giggle out of the constant excited burble was difficult, but I would say 10/11 weeks we heard a definite laugh and these then slowly increased with frequency and volume!

I..love...baby...giggles!! BEST sound in the world!

My LO was around 14 weeks when he started laughing loudly, the first time he did it I was changing his nappy and it scared the life out of me - for a split second I thought he was hurt, was so relieved when I realised what it was!

nevaeh started properly smiling at 3 weeks and 1st laughed at 11 weeks and now when i tickle her she giggles my heart melts every time xx

I can't remember how old he was, it took a lot of effort to get him to laugh. Now he laughs all the time. His favourite laugh has always been a forced fake laugh though :haha:

Kaydence just started it on friday so at 14 weeks was her first and only a few times after that

Paige chuckled at 14 or so weeks, even now it is really ard to get her to laugh.

Although whenevr I laugh, she tries to copy the noise, which is very amusing

he started laughing around 10 weeks. he's not rolling yet, though im sure he could if he wanted because he spends most of the time on his play mat rolling onto his side lol
