Hi ladies, I'm a few days early to be posting on second tri board but just wanted to find out everyone's experiences with symptoms lessening or going completely? Like my ticker says, I'm 12 1/2 weeks and in the last few days my symptoms have completely vanished. I have a scan on Tuesday and I used my Doppler last Thursday and heartbeat was still going strong. But dh and I have been out of town for a few days and I left Doppler at home. I also ended my progesterone pills a couple of days ago so I'm hoping it's because of that that I'm feeling so much better.

Anyone else lose almost all symptoms around 12 weeks or after stopping progesterone and everything work out fine? I'm just concerned because i'v had 2 miscarriages this year at 8 and 11 weeks...

Thanks ladies for the help.
Xx

I had m/s for 5 weeks every day then it all suddenly stopped at 12wks 2 days....had my scan at 12wks 4 days and everything was great
But don't worry as I'm sure something else will come up to remind you you're pg...now I have heartburn :growlmad: but I would take it any day over m/s

Good luck :hugs:

My fatigue and nausea let up around 11 weeks and now I tend to feel great! I think it's perfectly normal and your good feelings are probably exaggerated by your stopping progesterone. Enjoy it while you can lol :):)
Good luck hun!

My nausea is completely gone and I'm 10+2, my fatigue is easing off as well!

I think it varies. My bloating is only just easing up, I'm still exhausted, but I've not been sick since about 13 weeks!

MS started easing up for me between 15-16 weeks. It then came back between weeks 18-19 and has not been back again since. It really varies from person to person on when symptoms will go.

My morning sickness stopped this past week, have only thrown up once. I'm still tired but feel pretty normal except for my big belly. This is a huge change from first tri which nearly killed me!

my sickness started to go away around week 20.. although I must say, its not completely gone yet. I am still taking Zofran (2 mg in morning).. besides that, I have more energy, don't have problems with smells.. etc.. so it has definitely improved.. I don't mind some sickness here and there... It will get better, hang in there.. :)

it was on and off for me. i'd be ok for a week (wk 10) then sick for 2 more. my ms didnt completely end till 23wks. im still taking zofran to prevent being sick cuz i still get nauseous

for it it was at about 16 17 weeks i started to get my appite back and felt less tired, and i wasn't feeling as sick, although i still had odd days where i was being sick.
I'm now 22 weeks and still being sick although now it's not as often and the longest i've gone without being sick is 11 days, i'm back down to day 5 now though.

Thanks ladies for all your replies. I'm back home today (with my doppler) and heartbeat is still ticking away nicely so I'm a little less concerned. I also started feeling a bit nauseous last night again so I think I was just lucky enough to have a few days break perfectly timed with our weekend away. Can't wait to just have my scan tomorrow and know for sure that everything is fine with little one.

thanks again. x

The last time I had any significant symptoms was right at the end of 10 weeks/beginning of 11 weeks. Most of my exhaustion and all my nausea went away then. I did have some food aversions and decreased appetite until about 14 weeks, and was still a little bit tired, but not as bad as earlier. Since 14 weeks, I've felt completely normal, normal appetite, no unusual cravings, normal energy, no nausea, nothing out of the ordinary, except that the bump is getting bigger and I'm maybe a little bit less comfortable sleeping. My boobs have always been sore, but not overly so, though now I've started leaking a bit so they do get more sore when that happens. Having symptoms leave at the end of 1st tri is very normal and lots of people start to see it happen from 11ish weeks, so try not to worry too much.
