When do you ovulate? What's the earliest time?

As the title says really, I know we all have different cycles but how many days into it do you ovulate? I'm not sure on my cycle length I think it's about 28, when would I ovulate? I'm using a Clearblue monitor so it can tell me as I've no idea when it comes to all this temping and chart malarkey !!!! X

Assuming your cycle is 28 days and assuming you have a 14 day LP, then you should ovulate on or around CD14. As far as the earliest time, some ladies with a 22 day cycle can ovulate as early as CD8 or 10.

They say that if you dont know for sure then you can start testing with OPKs around CD10 until you get a positive.

Personally, I ovulate anywhere between CD18-21. I'm only in my third cycle TTC so I'm not exactly sure on an exact time yet, but I do know its in that time frame.

With DS2 I used opk's at got + at CD13-15 (I had a 28 day clockwork cycle then). Since having a chemical 2 cycles ago, I now have 30 days cycles. I'm not using opk's this time around but I am temping...according to my charts I ov on cd 16-17.
