When does this constant feeding end??? also nipple shield Q

As the title says really lol

Im beginning to feel like a cow haha, i was up for four hours last night just feeding her!

Also i started using nipple shields about three weeks ago... but i cant give them up, ive become so dependant on them im actually afraid to not use them incase it hurts again. Do i just grit my teeth and go for it??

Lol the constant feeding hasn't ended for me during the day - but my LO does sleep through without a feed for up to 11 hours now so I think that's why

Sorry I'm not sure about the nipple shields - I guess if you do try without them lanisoh cream would probably help?

Constant feeding stopped at almost 2 months...and the pain after the first month...

I don't want to jinx myself, but since Christmas eve, Thomas has been going 3 to 4 hours between feeds, and we've had a couple of 5 and a half hour stretches at night. He's two months old now.

I actually posted a similar thread just before Christmas, things really can change overnight!

Sorry I can't help in relation to the nipple shields.

i managed to wean off nipple shields, but our prob was inability to latch, not pain. i did it with help from the bf specialists at my local clinic... is there something similar in your area? it took a couple of weeks to get from always using shields to not needing them at all, but we got there. i still sneak one on every now and again if i am really sore though.
