when during pregnancy did you buy nursing bras?

Just wondering when the best time is to be buying nursing bras. I'm 34 weeks, so thinking in the next week or 2. What do you think? what did you do and how did that work out for you? thanks!

I bought mine when I was only about 5 months along. Just remember, your ribs spread alot during pregnancy... so I bought my normal rib size... and just got extenders from Walmart. I had to use the extenders for about 3 months... now I'm back to my normal rib size.

I've gone down a back size and up two cup sizes since I gave birth, so you might be best to just buy one for now to keep you going and get re-measured after your babys born x

38 weeks and found them to be really small in the cup and a few sizes too big in the back. It would have been nice to have gone and bought them after the birth but it wasn't an option.

I suggest getting 1 or 2 cheapies before baby arrives and once your supply is established then go for a proper fitting anf get some pretties. Your breast size can change quite a bit between now and then.

I bought mine about 36 weeks or so, I got mine in mothercare and they were a wee bit big in the cupsize at the time but fit perfectly now (DD is 6 weeks old). I only bought two at the time though, incase they didn't fit once my milk came in but they were fine.

I bought a cheap one before delivery and just guessed the size and then waited to see how breastfeeding will go and got a nice one probably a month post-partum.

I got a couple while pregnant but when my milk came in they were hopelessly small!
