When is or was your first midwife appointment?

This is my third pregnancy. First was a mc and I had a mw appointment booked for 8 weeks, 2 bad health pregnancy booked for 10 weeks but I didn't inform drs surgery until I was 9 and this pregnancy I'm booked in at 11 weeks?!
My second pregnancy I didn't get my scan until I was 14 weeks so a little bit worried..

Seems pretty late especially because I know how long it takes to get a scan letter through! Anyone else?

I have my first appt tomorrow at 9+1 (found out I was pg at 8+2) then I'll be scheduled for a scan probably around 12 but I'm hoping for sooner. I do go to an OB though, not a midwife. Not sure if that makes a difference for anything.

5 weeks with my son and I saw a GP at almost 6 weeks with Sophie. I didn't have my own midwife for Sophie until 20 weeks and was seeing a couple of community midwives (in NZ we usually interview and choose our own independant midwife).

I will have my first appointment at 5 weeks, but I have never been there before so I honestly believe it will be more of a consultation, perhaps a blood test to verify HPT.

I won't see mine till nearly 10 weeks. I had a mmc at 18 weeks in august and they don't know why and when I asked if I need to be seen earlier cos of my mmc she just said no, she didn't even ask what had happened in think it's pretty appalling

Not until 10 weeks here, which will be mid-January for me. Aka- an eternity away, and that is IF they decide to take my case. I wish we had more support medically in first trimester.

I haven't had confirmation of 1st midwife appt yet, went to see doctor at 6 weeks to tell them I was pregnant but still waiting to hear from midwife for booking appt, I have had my letter for 12 week scan though which I thought was odd xxx

I went to GP at about 8.5 weeks (first appt I could get after 7 week scan, wanted to wait until after that). My booking in appointment is on 20th December, I'll be 12+2 so perhaps that's quite late? Also my scan is going to be a few days beforehand so it's bit backwards really!

January 9th, I'll be almost 13w!! That's the first appointment available! Serious community midwife shortage here?
I've booked my NT scan myself, 3 days before my first MW appt lol!

I've got my first appointment on Friday at 5w6d. I don't know if it's with a GP or midwife though. They didn't say. I suspect my appointment is just to ask loads of questions x

I had my first appt. this past Friday at 9 weeks 5 days. I have my bloodwork scheduled for Tuesday next week, and I need to call to book my ultrasound, but keep forgetting cause the only time I can call is during work hours!
