I am 13 weeks and SOO excited..
I know its a little early to say this but I just can not wait to hold my little baby..

when do you girls think that it is too early to shop for outfits and cute little shoes..?

i just cant wait! :haha:

lol.. just wondering

ok number one, make sure not to get them newborn sneakers cause those are very bad for their feet, booties are ok, just not little sneakers. and number 2, its never too early to start shopping! i was shopping as soon as i knew i was pregnant, looking for deals, and then when i found out i was having twins i went into high gear! ahah. just get neutrals!

AWH! thank you soo much..

and Mommyoftwins: congrats on your twins they are soo cute!
neutrals are going to be hard because i feel so strongly that its a little baby girll.. maybe i should wait 'till i know for sure.

Definately wait until you know!

I was convinced he was a she  x

even so, if you get some nice neutral yellows and whites and then your safe! but remember, no little baby sneakers!!!!!!!

id wait till u know the sex; but dont over buy ( its hard i know =P ) or if u shop buy different mnths not just all newborn ;considerinq they qrow out of clothes fast the first couple of mnths . hope this helped hun =]

i started my shopping about 15 weeks hehe
its sooo exciting!!
there are some really cute neutral stuff =]

yeah, but i started searching for bargains, cause if you look for bargains u arnt searching for them all right before :)

I got a couple things after 12 weeks. Then got my moses basket at 15 weeks & all her clothes after my 20 week scan :D

I waited until I knew what she was, and I just found out Saturday so it was a long wait, lol, but I am not a fan of neutral clothing, and now that I know she is a girl, I don't think yellows and greens would suit her as well as pinks and purples, lol.

i didn't really get much before i knew her gender and i'm sooooo glad i didn't cause the neutral stuff i have got - i think it boring.. even just plain suff sometimes looks too boyish/girlish..

oh and don't go by feelings.. i was pretty sure she was a boy to the point i'd picked a boys name and everythinggg.. was a surprise.. but i reallly wanted a girl!!

i'd look around for bargins though - pick up things like dummys or nappies - they're boring, but then later on you'll have more money to spend on clothes.. plus you don't usually get loadsa gender specific nappies and wipes etc hehe...

also look at meternity clothes maybe or bigger clothes - you might still fit in your clothes.. i live in my maternity wear now!!
xxxx

imo, i think you should wait until you find out the sex! if you plan to do that, if not then i would do it now! i didn't start shopping until after 30 weeks! but do it whenever you want, just don't go crazy until you find out the sex :) i'm sure that will be difficult though ;D

I started shopping right away, buy in bigger sizes not just newborn, I bought like barely any newborn things and thankgod he was a big boy and was only in newborn for 3 weeks.
I had a feeling he was a boy so I bought boy stuff, then at 20 weeks I found out I was right, and bought more boy stuff! lol

I started shopping right after my 12 week scan and then went mad after my 16 week scan told me it was a girl and since my 20 week scan confirmed it for deffo I've done the rest! Finished now! I literally have everything :haha: feels good to have it all and be organised though, now I can just chill and not worry about money and if I see something I really MUST have I can get it without feeling guilty  it's really up to you hun, if you wanna shop now then SHOP! But stick with neutral til you know what it is xxx

I started early as well, and im so glad i did cuz it has helped me spread the cost. I wouldnt of been able to afford everything I have now.
So i gradually brought bits and bobs which was a big big help
xx

Same, it's definately better financially the sooner you start or I'd be panicing now about what I could afford xxx

as long as you can wait haha.
i've gathered so much now (i started getting stuff given/buying at 15ish weeks) that i really dont have much else left to buy in the grand scheme of things really, yet there is still yonks of time to go. x

:haha: wait till you get to the point i'm at - i wanna buy stuff - but i've already bought too much - she doesn't need anything else, and anyone would have thought i was having quads the amount i've got!!
but i have nothing to do.. i'm too fat to do anything other than shop, eat, drink and sleep!! borriinngggggg...

and for moneyy.. you'd have the same, if you can resist the temptation to spend.. :) ohhhh i tell you what's always good to get early as well.. stuff for hospital bag.. like when it's on offer and stuff - sounds stupid, but i've been putting it off for agesss.. because i look everywhere and stuff is so expensive, and it's just gunna be thrown away!!

at about 18 weeks i did start to really wanna buy stuff.. so i looked around at prams i liked and stuff - and checked out like cheaper ways to do things - then once you've found one.. personally i'd say wait till an offer.. i waited for a mama's and papa's sale and went a bit crazy :haha:
xxxxx

Yes i started shopping for a few its straight after my 12week scan. If you want to know the sex wait to get alot of stuff until you know that. i got my cot at about 16 weeks
