How much do the boobs grow between now and birth? I am still the same size 36DD as when i found out i was pregnant, they havent grown any....xx

Usually around 38 weeks u get measured & go up one or two sizes depending on how much room you have for growth & breast pads.

I read somewhere around 38 weeks get measured and this should be the size you will be at throughout your nursing experience.

in the first 3 months mine were 2 cup sizes bigger and had to buy new bras, now those bras are too big! i must have shrunk back down to normal size. i am hoping i will fill them again after the birth lol

I bought a fab nursing bra from leia, it's so comfortable and my fav by far. They measured me at 38 weeks and it fits perfectly :)

I went from 36DD to 38DD. Bought nursing bras at 14 weeks and boobs didn't grow anymore, even when my milk came in.

Now a 36DD again by the nursing bras still fit me ok. Everyone's different, they say get measured every two weeks from 30 weeks and post birth, but that's a load of rubbish really, you'll know yourself if you've changed. Just get something comfy and roomy and you can always get a bigger one when your LO is here if you really need one.

I have brought some early due to sale prices. Lol. I have got 2 nursing bras from Mothercare for £14 instead of £28 (I was 36DD before pregnancy and at moment am wearing 38DD) I have brought some in 38DD and also have some bras in 40E I think & 42DD which arent nursing but are big almost kind of mini tops and very comfy!!

xx

Hmmmm I went up Two cup sizes in the first 5 months, they seemed very full. Now they're not as big or hard, I was wondering the same thing if they will grow any more! A lot of people saying 38 weeks so might wait until then to get measured for one! X

I bought one that is 2 cup sizes bigger than what I am now and the same back size (I'm on the last hook now!) as that's likely to go down once bubs drops and I can tighten it up.

I've only bought one in case I'm wrong but I wanted to have at least one for my hospital bag.
I have one of the Miriam Stoppard ones from Debenhams and the straps are really stretchy so I think if my boobs go way big it will still have a bit of give in it.

I don't plan on buying one till milk comes in cause no way to tell how much will grow at that point. And don't want to have one too big/small especially at the price that they cost.

I didn't get mine until after my milk came in. That way you can really tell what size you need. Also you will know if your a leaker or not and need breastpad room or not.

I bought one yesterday. I got one a little bigger than I am at the moment for when my milk comes in. I'll get more when I know exactly what size I am.

I'm usually a 32C at my slimmest pre pregnancy, and i'm a 34 DD now...so i'm going to order some 34DD for the duration as i don't expect a 32 will fit me again for a long while after i've got rid of my BFing coverage! I'm expecting this will fit me sufficiently (even if it's tight) during engorgement but that's a temporary state. Last time the fluctuation over the months was a lot so i expect the bras to have a limited self life!

I think it is best to wait until 1 or 2 weeks post partum to buy nursing bras. You'll see that your boobs don't settle until then and you can end up wasting a TON of money on the wrong sizes before hand... just wait and you'll be better off...

What you should get are two non-bra/bra type easy pull aways in a really large size or a tank you can easily drop down.

Just speaking from previous experience!!

LUUUUCKY!
I was a 36F before pregnancy and about mid way through I started spilling out and the only bra big enough and comfortable enough was a size 2X nursing bra from Motherhood Maternity (motherhood.com - they're like $25.00 max) @.@

All I can say is I LOVE THEM! I don't really want to go back to regular bras lol... but I've heard my boobs are going to get bigger after baby is born and milk comes in so I might have to go up to a 3X nursing bra (mind you, I'm still wearing the same size shirt I wore before pregnancy - a M/L, yet my belly is so big it makes my boobs look small T.T)

I'd say just when you feel you need to get one to get one... it's not really a certain time frame as every woman is different.

I picked one up this week since I needed a new bra and it was on sale. So far I really like it.
