when to stop metformin before oral glucose test

Hi,
I have been on Metformin for 3 years and now Im pregnant 15 weeks.
Doctor wants me to do 3 hr oral blood glucose test, but wants me stop Metformin before the test, so he sees
if I need to take it thru a whole pregnancy. How long does it takes for Met to wean off the body?
In other words if I stp Metformin day or two before the test wuld the numbers be accurate?

Honestly, I would ask your doctor. I'm surprised they actually didn't tell you (unless you have another doctor you should ask?).

I would find out how long before you need to stop and, assuming you're still checking your blood sugar levels, what you should do if you blood sugars reach certain levels. I think they'd be the best ones to guide you on how to handle your situation
