When to test?

If what I had today was implantation bleeding, then when should I test? I'm due for AF on 10/3 or 4. I'm just confused as to if I bled today (brown spotting) then how long ago did implantation happen? I *think* I o'd on 9/20.

IF it was IB, then you should be able to test in about 5 days, they say it should only take 3 days to build up in the blood and 3 days to spill over into the urine, the most.

I do not know what DPO you are, but I'm 11 dpo and I had what I thought may be IB too at 9 dpo & 10 dpo. So good luck to you and I hope it BFP for both of us.

Well, I'm not sure how many dpo I am as I wasn't really trying...but I am probably 5 or 6 dpo. I am due for AF on either 10/3 or 4. I'm trying to hold out till then to test. I have one FRER.

I'm due for AF on Oct 3 too so I will wait with you and can obsess over all the upcoming symptoms. But I doubt if I can make it that long.

Yes, we can certainly wait together! I will tell you, tho my situation is not as happy as most here. I have 2 kids now and would LOVE to be pg with the 3rd, but I'm pretty sure dh doesn't feel the same. I posted my story earlier today, but long story short, we were not trying, but dtd several times unprotected. He was well aware of this, and said nothing about it which is strange for him. He's usually paranoid about it. He knows I want another baby and has been open to it, but I think it will freak him out, at least initially. I will be thrilled and have decided to take the stance of, it takes 2 to tango buster! (as advised by Sammy who responded to my previous thread )

I really hope you get your bfp! Btw, any symptoms you want to compare and obsess over??

I had some mild cramping yesterday, the brown spotting today and also some pressure like feeling in my lower abdomen this evening. I never had many symptoms with my previous pgs tho, so it's all a crap shoot for me!

I would wait until you think you are 13-14 dpo so you don't waste your test

I have read on a few sources that it takes 2-3 days AFTER implantation for HCG to reach your blood and then another 3-4 days to reach your urine. So basically 5-7 days after implantation should suffice before testing.

It does take 2 to tango and no worries if you are preggers I'm sure he would be happy.
