We're currently taking a month off after having 3 early m/cs in 3 months. I have severe endo and have been told not to hold off ttc, been trying 6 months and have had 3 bfps and losses. The first two I bled really heavily but the most recent one I only bled really lightly and have been wondering if perhaps my lining wasn't thick enough. The doctor said to take a month off but that was for dating reasons but my acupuncturist has said to take 3 months (she specialises in acu for fertility) to allow my hormones to settle and lining to build up again. Not sure what to do. Don't know if I could cope with yet another m/c and we have an appt with fertility specialist in April so don't know whether to take 2 months off. To be honest I have been avoiding thinking about it other than hating seeing babies and pregnant women everywhere.
What have you all been told?

I was told good to go by consultant in Jan after mc in December but I have pcos not endo. Couldn't say one way or other - on one hand healing time both physically and emotional as well as seeing the specialist means waiting is good but I really understand that strong urge to try try and try again - mmmmmm v tricky!!

Oh - and right there with you on the pg women everywhere - enough to drive you nuts!!

I wish you well whichever you choose

take care hx :)

Thanks for replying. I just got appt through for fertility specialist on 12th April, if I have my normal 30 day cycle I'll be on CD28, would rather not find out I was preg again just to lose it (I know it's not healthy to assume I will have m/c) and have to wait for another appt. Decision made I think. Well, need to see what DH says.

Could really do with some other thoughts on this. Can't decide. Don't want to miss out on another month, all I have wanted for years is to have a child with DH, I'm now 30, been told my endo will probably get to a stage where we cannot get pregnant so to do it now rather than later. Really don't know what to do.

Well, I was told to start again when I 'felt ready'. Whatever that is supposed to mean! But I had a D&C, so he did warn me that the possibility of m/c again was there only because my lining may not be thick enough to get one to stick. That being said, he also said that many women have gone on to get pg again that month after without having a period only to have a healthy baby later! So I say go with your gut, do whatever you feel is right! Waiting is sometimes just not in the cards... Prayers for you and sticky baby dust sent your way!
