First, a story!

So, last week sometime--just a few days before I actually found out I was preg--I was talking with a few of my friends and I said something about not feeling good and they joked that I must be pregnant. When I was in HS, there were always rumors that I was pregnant like every other month so it's like an ongoing joke with me and my friends now. Welllll, I went on to say, "oh yeah, you should let everyone know since everyones been thinking I was since we were like 15 anyway..." and so they all put up statuses on fb saying stuff like "Congrats to my sister Kay, can't wait to meet the baby, you're gonna be a great mom!"

....well, now it's not so much a joke anymore obviously

Just wondering when you all told people outside of your fam?

So far I've told OH, my best friend and my friend/manager from my old job... I kinda wanna pull a Beyonce and just show up with a huge belly one day

i told my parents straight away i was just over 4 weeks. OH told his family today. i told a few close friend between 5-6 weeks too. i put on facebook today a baby progression thing week by week and now everybody knows lol.. i cant keep my mouth shut

I never really thought it was anyone's business, kwim? My close friends and family knew but I never publically said it on Facebook or anything. It just didn't really appeal to me. I mean, when I started really showing 30+ weeks and people ran into me, they would ask if I was pregnant and I would say yes. I never really lied or hid it, I just never announced it, lol! So after I had Tori I posted pictures of her on Facebook and I got a lot of, "OMG. YOU HAD A BABY!" "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE PREGNANT." etc but it's whatever. Now everyone knows, lol! For my second child, I will probably announce it though.

I didn't announce it on facebook either, but when I was getting close to my due date I would occasionally post how many days are left. People slowly caught on lol. For those who didn't, after I had Kayah I just put some pictures up!

Oh man, I don't know if I can really keep it a secret for so long! I'm just too overly excited lol. But I get what you girls said about it not really being anyones business... Idk!

Maybe I'll try to be sneaky and just hint at it until, well, whenever baby is here!

And idk when that will be yet, but it still seems waaaaaay top far away!

Well my situation was difficult, so I didn't say anything until about 26 weeks, and told my friends shortly after that.
I still haven't told everyone yet, and I am 31+3 weeks.

I've only told VERY close friends (friends that have been/are in my situation) and family, and OH told his family. (family we live with, not everyone). And when I get my 20 week scan to find out the baby's sex, I want to post a picture on facebook

I'm going to post on FB after I find out everything is A-ok on friday after my scan ( !! ) I know it isn't anyones business but I'm sick of being hounded to go out drinking and I've got a tiny bump starting down by my lady bits lol (first thing in the morning and THEN it turns into horrific bloat) I minimised my facebook down to friends I see at least once a week and close over seas friends and relatives anyways, weeded out my friend list with "do I want you to know? Yes/No."

Well i announced on facebook last night
with my daughter i posted after my 12 week scan i believe? i could be wrong.
but this time i just posted my scan from yesterday, to begin with i didnt put anything on it to explain, just the pic and thought ah well theyll get it (i was nervous about comments because im young and pregnant with number 2 so soon) but the comments were fine so i began to comment back to answer questions. I figured as long as im happy.. why should i care what they say?

I haven't . My OH told alot of his friends and things, my mum told a few people - I told my mum, my brother, my granny and two close friends! I have alooooot of friends on fb - over 500 - of all different age groups and from all over the world due to dog showing and I don't want the shock horror that will come from some of them . I have a dog show next thursday down south, then one in november so i can't wait to see if anyone asks LOL - if they do i'm going to say no are you saying i'm getting fat . The way I see it if I wanted them to know I would have told them funnily enough . xxx

When I had Lily I told my mum first and then OH and within a week close family on my side knew and within another week so did the rest of the world as it went round the entire school. With this LO OH was first to know then within a week my best friends and mum knew and then my family got told. OH mum found out at like 14 weeks? maybe before not sure as OH let it slip (we don't get on with her to well) and some of OH's family still do not know. His nan does now but when I saw her last she told me i needed to diet as I looked like I could be having another well at the time I was 18 weeks we told her the day after the look on her face!but yeah everyone that matters now knows

I'm sure once I tell my mom that my entire family will know within a matter of 45 minutes, lol. My family is very close so news travels like wildfire.... I keep trying to guess how everyones reaction will be, can't do it lol

As for ppl outside of my family, besides the two close friends I already told. Think I'm gonna just let the rest guess, unless I feel they're important enough to know!
