Hello Ladies :flower:

Well the title says it all really! Does anyone know where I can find the cheapest IVF drugs now I have my perscription? I know ASDA now do them. And there's also somewhere else but I can't remember the name, something like Healthcare maybe it's not called anything like that!

Thanks in advance Ladies!
:hugs:

I think ASDA is THE cheapest you can get in this country x

Hi Hun
I didn't find that Asda were actually the cheapest despite their claims. It depends what drugs you have been prescribed and who manufactures them. I tried shopping around for mine but my clinic got them directly from pharmasure the manufacturer so there wasn't any savings. I can give u the numbers to try though x

the other one I believe you were thinking of is healthcare at home.

Yep my drugs are direct from The Lister and they were cheaper than Asda! I know that on FF site they have a thread of where people have posted so i found it and here you....

1 box of menopur, £150 for 10x 75iu from local Asda

Central Homecare worked out at £13.65 each so think that is a bit cheaper. You don't have to buy blocks of 10, you can buy whatever number you need

Well I just called my local Asda for a price on the Superfact Nasal Spray and this was a lot more expensive than my clinic (£42 at clinic vs £101 at Asda (there may be 20% off this price) but it is much more expensive.

I found Central Homecare gave the cheapest price for Gestone 50mg = £5.18 when under CRGH clinic. Don't know if their prices differ for different clinics.

Hope the opinions i've pasted above help - there were 50 pages!!!!

Ladies

Thank you so much for your help. In the end I went with ASDA. The clinic's cost was £1,200 and I got mine for just under £1,000, so saved about £200.

I should have shopped around a bit more but because this is my first attempt I'm super eager and just want to have them ready at home. So we're off to pick them up on Friday.

Rachelle - Thanks for the info, I've just had a look on ff. My god there's pages of it!!! I see you are starting IVF soon too and you're at the Lister, I'm down the road at LWC. Good luck with everything!! Am off to nose through your journal now!
