Hey ladies seen some lovely things on the crafft thread :D

I have an old singer machine dated back to 1922 and a new singer machine

    Thinking about starting some project.
Loved the taggies and blankets etc

Just wondering where is best or where you get your fabric?

    Thanks :)

    xx

I buy from ebay, various sellers on there, even occasionally from china or korea. I also like to buy from the stall in my local town or market day as it cheaper then buying from a fabric shop. I make blankets, cushions and taggies all the time and never had a problem, I am trying to start my own business with it at the moment

Yeah i seen some lovely fabrics on ebay so that might be worth a try.
How long was wait for fabric from China & Korea lol?
We have a reminant kings but some of it is quite pricey,
suppose you get what you pay for, but was just curious.

Ohh lovelyy so is your business gonna be selling the cushions and blankets or do you make other stuff aswell?

local quilt shops and fabric stores. I try to stay away from fabric sold in walmart because it's so cheap and crappy quality. Ive bought fabric online at fabric.com and it has been very nice quality quilting type fabric. It's a little more expensive but the increase in quality is worth the extra money you spend.

I mainly use (online) Gaga fabrics, Gone to Earth, Seamstar, Eclectic maker, Fabric Rehab, Fancymoon, Abakhan (providing you get them to tell you postage costs up front) and offline I use John Lewis or local stockists. x
