Do you get it from a butchers, supermarket, somewhere else?

I usually get mine from M&S but its expensive and idk if butcher ones are any better

I'm meant to be getting mine from the butchers down the road, but I'm very put out he isn't taking orders for them yet!lol...I want to order it now!haha.xx

How much will it cost? I need one to feed 8-10 i think!

Last one i got was a local free range bronze turkey bought from a farm shop, it was wonderful. But to be honest as long as it's free range I'd definitely buy from M&S

I'm not sure hun, this is the first year I have brought from a butchers, but I saw a frozen turkey crown in sainsburys yesterday which was £12.99 to feed 5-7 If thats anything to go by?x

Last year our turkey was £57 I think  It fed 13 of us though! I'm a bit of a snob, won't eat frozen turkey crown for xmas

I don't blame you!lol...my mum got a frozen turkey one year, she defosted it and it had gone off

Ham from butcher.

Sausage meat (for stuffing) from butcher.

Chipolatas probably supermarket (but not supermarket's own brand unless M&S!!!!)

Turkey I will get a frozen one, I will pick a good breed and free range (not worried about organic personally.) 2 yrs ago I got mine for £20 to feed 11 with loads left, but that was a good deal and I was able to keep it in my Dad's freezer. If no special offers it could be £35-40 this year. IMO it's in the way you cook it and I've tasted fresh turkeys which have been wrecked by crap cooks but then people who claim to hate frozen turkey have tasted mine and loved it without knowing it was frozen. I'm with you on the turkey crown Blah11, don't like em!

M&S is where my mum is going to get hers. She is also doing Gammon and Beef because this is our first year with a proper Christmas dinner.. I dont like Turkey..

I buy mine from my local butcher and they have always been lovely!! :happydance: I buy a big one (20lb dressed weight) which would feed 13 easily (with plenty of leftovers for sandwiches) and it costs about the same as your M&S one

my mil gets hers from a local farm
can't remember how much she said it was
but it's huge and i dont think it was that
expensive

We usually gets ours from M&S but this year we are buying one from a local farm, you can see the turkeys and geese running around the field when you drive past. we've ordered a 7.5kg (16.5lbs) free range bronze turkey, it has cost us £59.63.

M&S for all my christmas day food. :D xx

we normally just get a frozen one, my cousin gets hers from her local butcher, ive no idea how many it feeds, but i know it costs her around £80 so im imagining it would feed a fair few!

I get our from the butchers and it costs me about £35-£40,

used to get it from the supermarket, but fresh from the butchers is far nicer :) x

I think m&s get them from the same places butchers do  where else would they get fresh turkeys if not a turkey farm

ugh, anyone watching eastenders.. that makes me sick.

we get a morrisons turkey crown bout £12 8-10 people and really nice
