Where does your LO sleep before your own bed time?

When he was a newborn we had him in the moses basket in the living room, then we'd carry him through to the bedroom when we went to bed. Now he goes to bed earlier he goes into his cot in our room and we listen out for him xx

Hope everything is going well or went well today for you!!! :D

I had Kayleigh in her playpen or bassinet out in the living room and we would roll the basinet in our room when we went to bed, or picked her up and put her in her crib in our room :) Now I put her to bed in our room (sometimes our bed hehe) and when Im ready for bed, I go in... but we check on her often and OH isnt sleeping in there at the moment as its not good to co-sleep if you smoke (maybe a push to quit ) so he is in the living room. Our bedroom and Kayleighs bedroom are on the main floor so I dont worry so much with her in there, or in her room herself :)

Bella sleeps in her crib since 2,5 months in her room and her bed time is very different from ours :) She used to sleep in her bassinet upstairs in our bedroom when she was a newborn and again her bed time was a little different, I had to eat, take a shower and then join her.

she stays with us until bedtime, then bassinett, then our bed

I used to let her sleep in a moses basket downstairs in the front room with us and then just transfer her to the one upstairs when it was bed time for me as well.

Good luck tomorrow :flower:

As a newborn she didn't sleep before we all went up to bed, usually quite late to normal.

About 5 or so weeks she started sleeping on my husband downstairs til we all went up.

About 8 weeks she was sent to sleep by me feeding and him holding, then put in her baby chair thing til bed time.

About 10 weeks we started to take her up once asleep.

About 15 weeks we started to bath her, then feed her in our room where her cot is, then put her down asleep.

About 17/18 weeks we moved onto putting her down drowsy.

Her bedtime is around 7-8pm (when she is tired) and she sleeps in her cot in our room til we go up at about 10ish. She is checked about every 15 minutes and we have a good monitor.

We used to have a moses basket upstairs in our bedroom and a carrycot on a rocking stand downstairs, Maya would sleep in the carrycot until we went to bed and we just carried her upstairs. When she started sleeping for longer periods at night we introduced a bedtime routine and started putting her straight to the moses basket and then just check up on her if we still stayed up. Now Maya sleeps in her own room in her cot, she's asleep by 6.30pm usually and again, we just check up on her every half an hour or so. We don't really use the baby monitor as we live in a small cottage and we can easily hear her from downstairs.

Until he was 7 weeks he was on/with me wherever I was. Truthfully, it was a blurry haze of nursing & cat napping for me back then. He also didn't start sleeping well until after that when he started sleeping in his cot.

Also,a slightly belated good luck with the birth!
