I'm 10 weeks today and I still don't look pregnant. Throughout the day I will get really bloated and look pregnant and then it goes away. I may see a teeny tiny difference but shouldn't I be showing a little bit? Shouldn't my jeans be getting tight without being bloated? I am 5'3 and 119lbs. My last ultrasound was 7+4, I'm so worried that something may have gone wrong between then and now.

Hello, I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and still have no signs of showing - just get uncomfortable in my clothes due to being bloated and paranoid pressure from my clothes will cause the wee one harm.

I can't really offer and reassuring advice as I don't know if everything is okay with me - but had a scan at 7+2 and there was a heartbeat and recently had a blood test and was told the hormones levels are indicating that it is a viable pregnancy - so fingers crossed all is okay.

Hope that is of some comfort, but I'm sure all different people show at different times - I've also heard that you show earlier after your first child so maybe if it is your first then that could be why?

Also on a side note, my mum had a friend who never showed until surprisingly late (much later than us) x

Everyone's different, you say you can see a difference yourself. Remember the baby is only tiny still :) Give it a couple of weeks :) xx

Dont worry too much....some people dont show until 20 weeks.

We cant compare because just like every person's body is different our babies are going to grow at different rates.

Is this your first? I didn't show until 25 weeks with my first so you might have a bit of a wait! Im 13+2 with my third and don't have a bump yet x

Your still really early for a bump! I had no bump till 16 weeks with lo. I could see some difference myself at 13/14 weeks but still nothing much.
Don't worry your bump will come, give it time.
xx

I'm definitely much bigger than you but I really didn't start showing until my 3rd trimester with my son. In fact, I was still able to wear some of my pre-pregnancy clothes when I was full term. But I'd like to say that everyone is different and carries their pregnancy differently. Just because you are not showing, does not mean that something is wrong. I know plenty of women (all sizes) who don't show until well into their 2nd trimester. Its not surprising that at 10 weeks you are not showing. I knew this one lady who was taller than you but she was really skinny and didn't show until very late like me. She just had really great tummy muscles that kept her bump hidden. Believe me, one day you'll wake up and be like where did that come from? :) :hugs:

I didn't start showing in my last pregnancy until I was around 26-28 weeks pregnant and I'm very slim so that surprised me! 10 weeks is far to early to be getting worried about not having a bump ;) I'm 12 weeks and only have bloat no bump for me yet :)

I feel so much better to hear you guys say that. I wonder what I will worry about next! lol I bought that book called Your Pregnancy Week by Week and also what to expect when your expecting..... both say that I should be noticing an expanding waistline by now, so that made me worry.

And on a lighter note.... I would also like to know where my new larger bbs are?! lol They are a tiny bit bigger but I am small chested and was sort of looking forward to having a more womanly chest for a change. I see ladies posting that they are up a cup size before they are even 10 weeks, I just hope my body is progressing as it should. I would like to be able to breastfeed, if I can.

I didn't show noticeably till 29 weeks pregnant with my first. I'm on my second and 9 weeks and not showing either. I was 5'2 125lbs with my son and this time 5'2 and 108 lbs starting out.

You are way early to be showing still! Some people don't show till 25+ weeks. The baby may be carrying low or towards your back, remember its still pretty tiny.

Uterus is still below your pelvic bones at 10 weeks. Any "showing" you would have by this point would be bloat, anyway. You're right on track!:flower:

Be careful about how easy it is to compare pregnancies when we use sites like this a lot. People talk a lot about their perceptions about their pregnancies that just don't mesh with scientific fact. Some like to say they started showing at 8 weeks or they had a bump by 9 weeks....well, so did I, and then it all went away at 13 weeks until I got my REAL bump at about 18 weeks (although some people do legit start showing around 13 weeks or so esp if it's not their first). Then in second tri you get people say they definitely felt baby kick at 12 weeks. If that ever happens it must be an extremely rare outlier...it's so hard to read through! I have even read people who said they felt movement at 7 weeks. :dohh: Anyone who's seen a 7-week ultrasound can tell you it's not so. Even the first wiggles around 10 weeks would be nowhere near uterine wall enough to feel. These women are feeling pulsations of their uterine artery or muscle spasms in or around the growing uterus and swearing up and down it's their child's movement.

Maybe I'm the only one who's constantly reading this stuff and thinking "Well, am I normal then?" But I'm guessing it's a common experience!

I didn't have a noticeable bump until a few weeks after my 20 week scan - I imagine it'll be different with this one but we'll see. You've nothing to worry about!!

I'm the same size as you and this is my 3rd pregnancy... not a bump at all. I was kinda was really worried that baby wasn't growing, but had a scan at 10wk+2 and baby was happy as can be and very snug under my pubic bone.

Also, my boobs are the same size as when I was a teenager lol. With my son, they got a smidge bigger, but not enough to change cup sizes, was stuck in A's and still am. And I successfully breastfeed my son til 20 months - cup size has nothing to do with milk production

I going to take a guess (sorry did read every post if you already mentioned it) but this is your first pg? I actually didn't show until I was 5 months with my first! Then all of the sudden I looked really PG LOL.

Loads of people don't show until 20+ weeks. Early bumps are often mostly bloat (like mine!). Maybe you will be lucky and have a neat little bump right through.

With my first I didn't start noticing a bump until after 20 weeks.. no worries!! =)

I asked the same question b/c I so wanted to show but I didn't get a noticeable bump until around 22 weeks. Hang in there it will show up.
