Where To Spend Christmas?

I've never spent christmas apart from my family. This year however i'll have my own little family and OH wants us to spend it by ourselves with baby. He doesn't get on with his family, and they live over 300miles away so they're out of the question anyways but i kind of want to spend it with my mum, dad and brothers like every year! I don't know what to do..xx

Maybe you could compromise maybe see them for few hours and spend time just you 2 and baby 2gether....This year we going to spend it at home with our lilone and see family either day before or day after.Next year we are going away fro christmas to spend it in countryside in a log cabin with open fire ect...Im so excited

well im the same hun, my oh wants to spend it the three of us so on xmas eve i going to my mums and having a mini xmas day and then on boxing day oh's family for another mini xmas day and xmas day just the three of us xx

I was sooo looking forward to xmas last year for the reason: our first family xmas!

Im really close to my family but they live 250miles away. OH family live close & wanted us to go to theres but we are a family now they are who i wanted to spent it with & i loved every minute, seen rest of family few days later.

Im at my OHs fam for luch then to my mums for tea , seeing our dads on boxing day most likely. But if my LO is still in hosp i will be with him x

First thing of xmas morning we open our presents together then head over to my mums, then my dads and then OH's family! It's a really long day!

We did xmas with my family once and xmas with the in-laws once and it was so much hassle. This year (and future years) we're doing xmas at home and visiting family on boxing day, much less hassle.

Doesnt matter how many children I have or will have I will always spend Christmas with either my family or OH's family. There is no point just me, OH, and the twins being at home. it would make it like any other day so we are going to go to either parents houses! It feels more like Christmas that way!

I wanted to just have it with just us. But OH wants to go to his family's house.
I decided that we stay home, open gifts together.
THEN go to his parent's
and then to my mom's.


Hopefully it goes as planned. Ughh.

well we spent Morgans first christmas in florida with just my parents

thenlucas's first christmas we opened presents just us at home, hen went to my parents for luncha nd chris's for tea
