Which boy's name do you prefer?

DH is dead set on naming our first boy Michael after his uncle, but I am unsure! I like the name, but am terrified of what people could shorten it to! I'm also worried the baby won't look like a Michael...if you know what I mean??

Not sure what kind of crazy nickname they could come up with Michael! He will probably just be Mike! lol

I like Micheal, but I don't like Mike or Mikey much so I wouldn't use it, my fave is Luke x

I voted Luke. Liam was the name of my academic rival at school and Michael is an ex so both names are off my list! I've known a few Lukes and they've always been lovely people!

We're using Michael for this baby (if it's a boy) but it'll be a middle name.

I would just tell people that his name is Michael, not Mike, Mikey, Mickey etc etc.

They should respect your decision to keep his name in full form, instead of shortening it to something you don't like.
