Quick question, ive noticed Aptamil here....is its the same one u guys get over in the UK? Made by Karicare??

we're just in the process of trying out HIPP organic (which is what I voted for) we have been using Aptamil but LO is a sicky baby and I wondered if Aptamil was making it worse. If HIPP doesn't help we're off around them all to see if anything suits her better than the Aptamil, if not we're back to that one

I found Aptamil no different to Cow & Gate, so went back to Cow & Gate but I am now wondering if I should try Hipp. I have read that LOs are struggling with the new SMA and getting hard poop. My DD only poops once a day and was in pain when pooping when on gaviscon for the sickness so I am thinking that perhaps Hipp is the other one to try.

How are you finding it?

Can that be the formula? No GP or MW has suggested I change her formula, but I am starting to think we should.

I voted for Aptamil, although we use SMA now as she needs to be on a lactose free formula and Aptamil don't do one. I wish they did though, I don't like SMA.

Neocate :/ At birth she was topped up with Aptamil (breastfed til 6wks). I really wanted to try Hipp Organic for topping up but the hospital had everything but! Also tried (briefly) Cow & Gate Comfort and has been on Nutramigen for all of 12 hours lol! Poor child :/

Fran has been on SMA since birth. Her poo was a little hard at first but it's got softer as her tummy got used to it - it took a few weeks but we never considered changing her and I'm glad we didn't because she really loves it.

We aren't on the new formula yet though, I'm hoping it doesn't taste any different!

SMA all the way! tried Aptamil with ds 1 and it was awful, its the one that they really plug in this county to use and he was never full on it! even on extra hungry! SMA is the only milk which seems to agree with my babies lol
