which day is dpo1?

hi, I'm ttc#2 but can't remember from last time and am still bf'ing so trying to work out if my LP is long enough.

which day do you count as dpo1? the day after a pos opk or the day after that assuming u o the day after an opk (my surge is only 12 hrs so it goes pos then neg in the same day!)

i'd say the day after your opk would be 1dpo

The day after you ovulate is 1 Days Past Ovulation! I also got a short surge and only ever get 1 positive opk. Some advice for us ladies with short surges would to NOT wait until a positive opk to BD, It wouldnt give the sperm enough time to make his way to the egg(s). GL
