Has anyone bought/used a white noise machine to help their LO drift off to sleep?
We're forever using the hairdryer while rocking LO to sleep, or to calm her down when she's suffering with wind/reflux/is overtired, and to mask the noise of me and DH when we're getting ourselves comfy in bed, as the sound of one of us turning over can wake her right back up again Obviously we can't leave it on for long as 1) It's expensive and 2) We've now started accidently falling asleep to it, and it's dangerous!!
We've tried white noise apps on our phones and recorded sounds, and the main thing seems to be they're not loud enough, or "real" enough for her
So I saw a white noise machine on Amazon and was wondering if anyone has used one before? It will use less electric and is safe to leave on if I fall asleep, and all night if needs be. I think it's about £30-£40 and want to know if it's worth the money??
