white or brown bread?

i use white as brown gives jake a really bad stomach for some reason..

Ive never tried him with brown.. just i figured maybe i should be! I know i prefer white lol.

Started out giving him white when he was weaned because we didn't want to give him too much fibre, but switched to brown just before he was 1 (it's what we have, so easier!) - he didn't seem to notice the change, and it doesn't upset his tummy, so all good!

both!

i prefer brown bread for sandwhiches and white bread for toast, my eldest prefers it the other way round, my youngest daughter couldnt give a monkeys atm lol x

Mostly brown or best of both. White bread makes her constipated.

Charlie loves brown seeded bread (some strange nappies though ) He won't touch white!

thanks ladies.. just wasn't sure if white was maybe a big no no but it seems like it is just down to choice.

Usually best of both. But neither me or OH really like bread so Summer doesn't have it much at home, she's not too keen on it either! xx

We normally use wholemeal, although I like to give Grace 'white' wheat products too as she has quite a high fibre diet and I've heard it's good to mix-and-match. If we're out and about she'll often have a white roll and we buy white pitta breads and muffins. So, in short, the answer is both!

We always use brown bread (so much nicer than white, unless toasted) so that's what Alex eats. He is not a big fan of bread so only has it once in a while, prefer him to have a cooked meal for both lunch and dinner anyway. Me and DH only buys White bread once a month maybe for toast. Mmm cheese on toast...

white :) people think white is terrible but its not that bad. has more calcium than brown but of course brown has more fiber

white def not bad. Especially if they eat other wholegrain foods like brown rice, cereals, wholemeal pasta, etc. I personally always buy good quality bread anyway that has no crap in it so I don't mind if it's white.

I buy whatever is on offer at the supermarket - white/brown/wholemeal... and Anna takes what she gets!:flower:

Both. Omar is not a fan of bread but he's fine with both. I love wholemeal.

We eat "weird" bread, so Bun eats the same, but he doesn't eat much bread. We usually have an alternative grain like whole spelt/kamut or I make my own bread.
He does love a good fresh baguette though! x
